Expanded rolls and checks
« on: July 09, 2020, 01:07:59 PM »
Not sure if this has been brought up before, but there were some things I've noticed with the emotes/checks system that seem a bit odd.

1) When rolling a grapple check, a roll of 0 is possible.
2) The [dodge] check seems to display ones touch AC, but ignores deflection and dodge modifiers which (as per 3.5) apply to Touch AC.
3) A means of displaying ones flat-footed AC would be beneficial to RP.
4) A command to make a standard attack roll with whatever weapons happens to be equipped at the time instead of us having to roll a d20 and trust the results

It's been ages since I did any scripting, but I seem to recall there being some issues with how NWN actually calculates flat-footed and touch AC, not counting them as unique values and instead calculating them on the spot. Not sure if that is still the case with EE.

Necro bump!

Would love being able to rp a full fight mechanically - by displaying attack rolls, ac (normal and conditional) and perhaps even dmg as part of a more rp focused fight.
