Could we get both brackets for commands?

I have to hit three keys to type single [ or ], my national keyboard lacks them as symbols.

This should go in Module Feedback and Suggestions but I agree. It would be nice to have multiple emote methods recognised for the purpose of animations, and the ability to disable the animations completely.

If I recall correctly, the * not triggering emote was left like that on purpose. Sometime you want to emote something using words that triggers an animation, but you don't necessarily want that animation,  hence why the * wasn't added as a trigger for animation. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure its one of there reason we sticked only with the [ ]

There are reasons why people might use () in casual speech or descriptions. [] is not generally used at all. While I sympathize with the keyboard issue, we are unlikely to support () anytime soon.

Yeah, people use * or () when they don't want to accidentally emote falling over for the nth time
