Tommaso Alighieri, by the grace of God, Seneschal of the Knights Templar, to the venerable men and women, sages and scholars of the Mage's Retreat, do so offer his most kind greeting.
Because we especially desire to hear from you and to learn of this arcane ritual which has bewitched one of our dear and beloved, we think it fitting to first tell you of this witchcraft as we have known it.
An Warlock of some degree and mystery, has put her under some powerful word that she must abide against her will. There are three different things, one is to collect written works, second to infiltrate a certain prestigious organization whom I will not say, and third to return them to the one who has vexed her. If these are not fulfilled a terrible sickness befalls upon her, until she again takes up this burden.
We do hereby implore to you as to what our possible courses forward may be, and what these courses will entail in terms of resources so that we can make the most educated decision possible.
In brief therefore, God willing, we shall await your return letter. We render to you the gratitude which you deserve for your care of our sister and for the very great fidelity which you have shown to us, And with the full intention of worthily rewarding your services, we ask you to continue the same.
