Detect type of trap
« on: March 02, 2020, 01:14:13 AM »
I just found myself in situations where it'd be good to know the type of trap on a container or whatever.

I was thinking, at least for objects that you can examine, using the examine feat on one where a trap has already been detected could be made to reveal the type of trap if used on the trapped object. Or it could be implemented differently.

This is no priority thing, just something that could maybe be looked at sometime if someone wants.

You can Examine Trap from the Disable Trap radial to determine what type of trap it is.

To be a bit more clear, it is under the radial menu for traps, not the object itself. It also tells if your PC can hit the DC to disarm the trap.
