Shapechanged People Can't Pick Up Gold Piles!

I tried to pick up gold from one of those piles of treasure and I got the message:

"You cannot pick up the gold in this state."

I'll give it a try next chance I get to drop into a dungeon with one. Would this have any impact on the ability (or inability) for shifted people to use items in their inventories and stuff?

It's probably a topic for elsewhere but is that a thing that can be done? I've noticed some weirdness regarding items and shapes, for example kobold form gets a bonus to set traps but physically cannot set traps.

Unfortunately that's hardcoded so little we can do about it for the time being. If one day Beamdog unlocks that, we'll be happy to revisit the topic.
