@customize height doesn't seem to work in the OOC room even if your height had not yet been set.

I made a new character and forgot to customise his height.  I popped to the OOC room but was told:

<< The height subcommand only functions in the OOC New Character Area or if a valid height is not previously set. >>

The second condition ought to have applied but did not.

I think the 2nd part only applies to characters who were created before height was a thing.  The instant you select a subrace (or opt for something generic), it sets a height for you.  So it's set, as long as you didn't escape out of the starting prompt.  After that, it can only be set in the starting room, and never after.

I've never been able to set height on my characters- due to the same issue aprogressivist (the original poster) stated.

Is there an alternative? I'd really like to @customize height on my default elf.

If you've missed setting your height, a DM can help you. Put in a Generic Request or catch us in game!
