Failed once, or multiple times?
It has failed with me before but succeeded eventually.
1. Had a working version I had not updated in 3 months
2. Did latest update.
3. Tried to enter Multiplayer game (preferred play style) - Error "NWSync FAILED" "Cannot Download, NWSync currently unavailable"
4. Deleted current NWSync folder which had 30 files in it and tried again.
5. Still failed to work
6. Tried another persistent world server.... still same issue.
7 Tried a saved non multiplayer game. Similar error (cant recall) re: NWSync.
8 Deleted game and reinstalled. Went to workshop and downloaded CEP and Prisioners of the Mist server custom content.
9. Now game COMPLETELY fails to even start!!!
10. Reboot. Same.
11. Uninstall, reinstall (TWO more times). Again game wont even start - from Steam or desktop shortcut.
12. Restore the deleted version I had from earlier... for some reason game WILL start now! No idea how MULTIPLE attempts to re-install from Steam have seemly failed... Go Steam, YAY!
13. Game still has NWSync error
Any help would be appreciated.
