Salutations fellow mist dwellers!

Witht he arrival of patch 8193, which forced us to adjust our haks, we've decided to use this opportunity to introduce a few more changes and we'd need your help testing it before releasing it on the main server. Some of the changes are behind the scenes, others you will get to appreciate from day 1. Before fully implementing it on the main server, we really could use some help testing. We've put up a test server using the same IP as our main server, but using port 5124 instead (so direct connect to 46.4.59.55:5124).

In addition to updating the game, be able to enter the test server, you need to download and install this package: Download (extract it to your Documents \ Neverwinter Nights directory, it will override existing files, but should still be compatible with the main server). The test server now runs the latest version of NwN, version 1.79.8193.3, so you will need to patch your game as well. Depending on how you've installed NwN:EE, you can easily revert back to the previous patch to play on the main server. If you are unsure how to switch back and forth, you can ask on the Discord or the forums for help.

If you use Steam you’ll need to unsubscribe from the POTM workshop to test the hak.

Once we're satisfied with testing, we will release it to the main server and patch it, hopefully in the coming days. The main server will then use NWSync, which will make updating the hak much easier.

We'd appreciate if you could give it a try and report back any bugs or other issues on the forums. Please pre-fix any topic you make pertaining to the hak test with "Hak-test". The test server runs a copy of the current server vault that is about one month old.  Don't hesitate experimenting - whatever happens on the test server will not affect the main server and your character there.

Hak Update 2_22 - Changelog

Hak update:

Area, Item and NPC changes:

- Added another new dungeon near Berez. Corrected minor issues with the other new dungeons near Berez and Wachter Province.

- Revamped Dvergeheim using a new tileset following recent IC events.

- Increased damage of crafted traps, decreased their weight and adjusted trap size by trap type (advanced or not).

Scripting and System changes:

- Added two new backgrounds for Disguise.

- Optimized Back to the Wall so it fires in the next round when in combat.

- Revised names of dyes generated via conversations to match those on the palette.

- Made it impossible for MPCs to control other MPCs summons.

- Fixed issues with Swim like a Fish and Water Breathing.

- Fixed a crash caused when the OOC PC Data Object was dropped.

- Fixed an exploit with releveling at level 2 and 3.

- Fixed an issue where some CEP weapons were not considered as weapons or melee weapons for many systems.

- Made it possible to alter the appearance of two robes in the treasuries.

- Fixed a bug where characters lost their initial racial ability modifiers when changed to a new race in-game (ie: Undead, Outsider, Dragon).

- Fixed a bug with PC scaling where characters would sometimes become invisible.
