In my experience, the mark is going away on area reset, the same as with a regular mark.

Have used it multiple times this NCE, and it never seems to stick. One of the times I'm virtually positive no PC could have disturbed the mark in the interim.

To test, use @markpermanent in a location, leave the area empty until it resets. See whether the mark remains.

My windows cracked, but they can be replaced.

As far as I know the correct syntax is '@mark permanent". There is a space between the two words.

Fairly late but as indicated in-game, the right command is @mark permanent, not @markpermanent.
