Radu up on the surface just tried to kill me. So why do I forgive him?
Even if I'm strong today, I remember a time when I was vulnerable. I remember wishing someone kind was there for me, someone who would listen without judging and someone who would make it all better. That person wasn't always there for me. I have to be that person for others or the cycle will continue. That person has no hate in his heart.
Holding grudges and swearing vengeance are also burdens that weigh us down. Moving on from and rising above cruelty free mind and spirit to focus on the things that truly matter to us. Violent satisfaction is but a dangerous distraction.
