Evard Tentacles vs Acid Sheath

Casted Greater Shadow conjuration spell for Evard Tentacles while having Acid shesths on got kill by Acid Damage per hit from Evard Tentacles is this intentional?

That shouldn't happen at all. Did you take screenshots? Post them if so.

Evards Black Tentacles is only bludgeoning damage dealing 1d6+4 per tentacle that can bypass /+2 damage reduction. It should not be acid damage.

Always take and post screenshots of bugs.

Might be related to the fact it was your tentacles damaging you, causing the acid to attack you. Though yes, this probably isn't intended..

Actually even worse. Just cast an ethereal visage on yourself when you meet an evards caster, than use fire/cold shield or mestil's and you killed the caster... via retalatory damage.

In another thread they asked for a revive for testing Evards v. Fire Shield, I think.

Looks like a bug/limitation with the new NwNx function; it always registers the damage as being melee damage. I'll see what I can do about this. If I can't find a workaround I'll revert to the original Evard's damage until it can be fixed/improved by the NwNx team.

For the time being, until the NwNx bug is fixed, I've reverted Evard's to its previous version so it no longer pierces DR.
