1) Whenever you try to use the Basilisk's gaze ability it gives a yellow text message saying,

* You can not concentrate on using this ability effectively *.

What gives with that?

2) When you shift in and out of forms, some hotkeyed abilities stay (Petrification Gaze, Darkness) and some vanish (Kobold's HiPS ability).

I'll add more as I find 'em.

Did you use it at least once before getting that message? It seems to be normal NwN shifter. There's supposed to be a limit to how many times you can use these radial abilities: 1 + 1 per 5 Shifter levels.

The default script for the shifter one needs to be adjusted per module, the limit defaults to zero according to the wiki. Fortunately it's a spell script like all the others.

I've just tested the basilisk gaze and it seems to work fine. After 3 uses at level 10 it sends that message.
