Returning to the mists... getting back my old characters?

I was a long term player in 2007-12, then took a break until 2018 but got my characters back and ran them for a while - was awesome. I could never get Enhanced version my cd key etc to work for Steam and now I've got the GOG (which I am hoping to get back on line soon).

Is it possible to still access my old characters?

Also I understand there are new feats etc - where can I find those?

Hey! Welcome back to the server :) Your old characters should remain in the Vault, and if you still have the login info for these accounts they should still be accessible. If not, your best bet is to speak with Soren (Zarathustra217) as he is the owner of the server.

I used to be under AussieHelaman... except now the server says there is already someone with that name and boots me.

I made a new user ID AussieHelaman123

Is it possible to transfer all my characters over to this id or to fix it so that I am not auto booted when I try to log in with my original id?

If hes that old of a player, it is likely that his characters were vaulted and separated from the main server's vault some time ago, I personally still have a character I've tried several times to get back as well some time ago.
