Hallowed Witch
« on: May 07, 2019, 11:41:20 PM »
I have read various places that the sorcerer class is not currently compatible with the hallowed witch PRC. My intended build for my halite is 6 cleric 8 sorcerer 6 hallowed witch. If this is the case, that will drastically impact the way I build this character.

1) is it currently true they aren't compatible.
2) are there any plans to fix this/is it fixable.

thanks.

From my understanding:

Yes, you can take sorcerer and will gain spell slots as normal with hallowed witch.

However, since EE doesn't currently support learning sorcerer spells on other class levels, you won't gain spells on higher levels than you could cast on day one. So you'll have the slots of a higher level caster, but will only be able to metamagic with them. At least, that's what I've heard.

It's unfixable on our end unless the NWN:EE team make some changes, but you'll still advance in cleric spells and Hallowed Witch originally doesn't offer spell progression in either casting class, only increasing the caster level, so current iteration designed for PotM is actually stronger than it should be.
