Could an extra one perhaps be added to the crafters tent? Myself I've been guilty of taking 1 hour real life time to craft potions, and I've seen others do the same.

+1 but only because (a lot of) people aren't time efficient with the current one, using the cauldron for training and dawdle while doing it...

I do appreciate the convenience of having a cauldron there at all so I can make immediately useable supplies but... one cauldron alone isn't immediately useable sometimes.

.. so I turn it into RP, stand behind, breathe down their neck, folding arms @emote 34 while I pester them about what they're making that's more important than the 5 or so potions of haste/heal/ethereal visage/ii I need to make.... Then cringe as I hear them waste valuable herbs

This If you have 50 potions to make, batch brew them in tens, or even fives or threes if you're kind of paranoid against failing... it's still your average success rate over all the crafts, you get more XP for your bulk crafts when they go over your levelup and you generally just save time that can be used to go gather more materials.

(Speaking from a 61 herbalism standpoint)

No reason to turn a 3 minute job into a 30min job.

When I'm going to do "serious" brewing, I usually go to a more isolated cauldron than the MC because I'd prefer not to have another PC "breathing down my neck," "@emote'34ing," and "pestering me" about how their super-duper potions are more important than mine. Or how I'm "wasting" herbs.

I assume your PC wasn't born with a 61 in herbalism?

Didn't you have to train at some point yourself to get to that 61?

FWIW, I always batch brew, and if someone shows up wanting to use the cauldron, I tend to finish the bottles I have, log out, and try again later. But if a PC were acting as you describe, you can bet your bippy I would be in no hurry to free up the cauldron

It's just a pet peeve of mine and it's fun to be ICly annoyed and try 'backseat drive' their herbalism rather than afking.
