Should firearms hit on a 20?

There is a picture under free advice in Discord that shows a 20 roll missing when used on an undead creature who is otherwise immune to critical hits. The returned immunity message and ranged touch dice seems coloured in the combat log in such a way it looks like it doesnt follow all the standard ranged touch attack rules.

This should now be fixed. Let me know if there are further issues.



The new rental system in Governors Hotel, went into the suite and there was an arrow visible in the middle of the room.

Only thing of note is that when i entered the hotel I received and lost a "no room key". This didn't seem have any impact on my rental itself. Unsure if related.

I've fixed the issue that would cause the red arrows (from the carpenter's kit) from being saved with rentals; existing ones will remain though. Also, you should no longer get the "no room key" message.

The garbage piles in the port-a-lucine sewers consistently spawn a rusted helmet that doesn't seem to self clean up when the loot is refreshed. This leads them to continue to build up.

I haven't been able to recreate this. Can anyone confirm this still occurs?

Almost! The damage and AB stack up correctly, but the bonuses only begin after the second kill. The first kill gets a 'boost' FX, but no bonus.

I've tried again to fix this. Let me know if it's better.

NPCs who hand items to the PC (deliveries) are no longer called by name in the message.

[Receives something from Generic Wealthy Barovian Male] is an example of what appears now, whereas the NPC's name used to be used.

This should now be fixed.

I haven't been able to recreate this. Can anyone confirm this still occurs?

I am not sure if that is the issue, or if it is just that they commonly spawn 1-6 of these helms, so it can seem like they keep them. But I have seen it spawn 6 and then only have 3 the next time.

If you wander around the Palais Dirgeant, the NPCs there are under the impression that Lady-Governor Hélène DeSuis and the Conseil D'Éclat are still in control of the city, and that the Gendarmerie is still lead by Capitane Edmond Montte :shock:

And the Government Agent at the West Gate is also under the same impression.

On the other hand, such a state of blatant denial is almost appropriate to the themes of the domain ...

The hitbox on this particular model of door is broken. Enemies cannot reach me or navigate through it. Even though they're in visual range, there's no LoS (as per attached images). This was not an issue prior to that pathing update from Beamdog. When I try to pass through, I get stuck on an 'invisible' blockade and have to WASD scramble my way past.

It is more likely that one character is not as perceptive as the other. They may not be very aware most of the time, themselves!

Examine reveals more if the PC doing it has a high wisdom. Could that be the difference?

I believe this happens when the Examining PC has less than average Wisdom.

Edit: looks like others beat me to it! :)

12 wiqdom on the one that cant determine others wisdom, 14 on the other. Iirc the 12 wisdom one used to be able to determine others wisdom

It is more likely that one character is not as perceptive as the other. They may not be very aware most of the time, themselves!

It appears the command @lastresettime is not working (as in gives no feedback whatsoever) and I've also checked the @votereset to see if it was still a thing, without result. A couple people agreed the Western Outskirts needed a bit of a cleanup

'Small Grave Ooze' have no hitbox at all, and cannot be targeted manually or looted.

I tested and they have a hitbox, but it's pretty small.

Animal Companions.

There are Wolf and Dire Wolf options, but 'Boar' actually = Dire Boar in appearance/portrait.

That's an old NwN thing, not exactly a bug. If we ever add new companions I could fix this.

Not sure if related to the development build, I'll test it more later with screenshots, but noticing that dropping (some?) items seem to have a fixed position on the Z axis, objects like notices floating off the ground and/or ignore placeables.

e.g. Notices float off the ground and placing bottles of drink on a bar table built into the area now clip through, like in the Drain at Hoth's bar.

when trying to take combat dummy apart it just gives you blanks but dummy wont dissapear.
