It seems that offensive spells won't cancel invisibility if everyone targeted resists them. While facing a vampire sorceress in the tergs earlier I was hit with no fewer than 5 negative energy pulses, none of which affected me through a spell resistance spell--or broke her invisibility. It did, however, cancel when she tried to punch me.
