Light sources not visible

So in dungeons I've noticed that some light sources are not visible. For instance, if a different character was holding a lantern, I can see the flame, but no source of light comes from it. The only way I can see the light coming from it is when I'm right next to the source. When I leave the area, it vanishes. Is it my graphic settings? I can try to get a screen shot of it later tonight if it might help.

Iirc, a low graphics setting will reduce the amount of dynamic lights you can see, so try upping those and check if that fixes it.

I'm on a higher graphics setting and I see what the OP is talking about, repeatedly and often.
