After reading what information I could find about the port, I do not see any reason you wouldn't be able to.  In the end, it is about whether or not the developers will be holding back on certain things like custom hak/tlk support and such and whether or not they will have networking support.  However, I believe we will be able to play EE POTM.  It's just not a question for this forum.  It would be a question for Beamdog.

I don't know that NWN EE is coming to Android. In looking at the Beamdog forum, I see something like that might have been mentioned in a dev chat (?), but there is nothing official I can find.

As POTM is a module, it would likely run on any platform the game ran on. It's like opening a Word document with Word, regardless of whether on a Mac or Windows.

So yes, a question more appropriate for Beamdog :)

NWN:EE has been slated to come out on Android in the next 6-12 months time frame according to twitch by Trench on the Beamdog Twitch show, several times, and they showed a working copy of it at PAX this pass Aug, so its a thing.  ;)

It seems they want to. First I had heard of it, too, since I don't follow that normally! https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/71130/nwn-coming-to-android

I feel like this version will be best suited to single player modules and experiences that aren't reliant on actual text + typing of dialogue. Typing out stuff on a tablet would be a nightmare, and not being dependent on a steady internet connection for a mobile device is generally better.

I wish they'd actually focus on fixing the game rather than this android bs.

+1 WoS. Less transition crashes would be kind of nice.

Haven’t had crashes recently myself and they have been working on people’s issues, however people complaining about crashes and whatnot is sort of taking this off topic.

It is possible.
It is somehow playable.
You have to add the haks manually and do changes in android folder though.

Here are my screenshots. I played on my phone, S9.

Could you be troubled to share everything you had to do to get this functional? I am interested.

Well once u got the game from google play, your game files will be in Internal Storage-> Android -> com.beamdog.nwnandroid-> files-> data

Then you connect your phone to pc , giving access to copy files in.

Downloading the cep and ravenloft haks from our forum, you just drag and paste in your phones files.

There is no tlk folder in android data, so you just drag them in.
The haks foldera in android is named "hk" you drag the haks there.
Rest i just copied in data, others that are not existent.

Optionally, if for example u play arelith aswell(sorry for ad of the server) and u know that there characters are saved per key, you can change your key to your PC one in com.beamdog.nwnandroid-> files -> user -> nwncd.ini (also in pc).

I copied only the bare necessities to make potm work (no music, no photos etc).

If there is still something unclear please ask.

Mechanics of the nwn on android are intuitive. To get the radial menu u have to do a long press. To use a feat or skill form your down quick menu on someone (heal, taunt, knockdown) you gotta click on the skill on it, then in the person/object you want to heal, knock or whatever.

Pressing on the skill will force you to use it, though, as you'll stay stuck. Wont work like on pc "clicking elsewhere"

Game itself moves ok on S9. It get fps drops in large areas though (such as Outskirts for example).

I havent tried dungeoning.
I havent tried going on known troublesome areas (krofburg & mountains).

I recently purchased the game, however, I currently don't have a working PC as mine decided to brick. Could someone possibly upload the required files to a drop box or something and provide me with a link to it please (saying exactly what goes where, because I don't want to screw anything up either, hahaa)? I would really appreciate it.

Well, now that we know it's possible, we just have to figure out how to play PotM with your thumbs.
