Gauntlets

I made some adamantine gauntlets and gilded them in platinum, then had them enchanted. I think they convert what is supposed to be just the AB bonus also into damage (according to the character's sheet). Is this meant to be like this?

Once enchanted the Attack Bonus becomes Enhancement Bonus. It does increase your damage as well.
