Death’s Blood gives a bonus vs death magic. Destruction, while Necromancy, isn’t considered as death magic.
That seems pretty odd. On the wiki, it says "Descriptor: Death," which may be a mistake:
http://nwnravenloft.wikia.com/wiki/DestructionIf a mistake, however, the spell ought to be corrected to conform to the Wiki, rather than the other way around!
Spell description: "The target creature must make a Fortitude save or die." That isn't some amount of damage on a fail; the target dies regardless of hit points. From the NWN (not POTM) wiki:
There are many other spells that can cause instant death, but the immunity may be "fear", as in the spells phantasmal killer and weird. Other spells might only kill if the target has a specified number of hit dice. A most notable exception may be the implosion spell, which kills its victims indirectly; the vortex the caster creates kills the targets, rather than the caster directly harming the victims.
None of those exceptions applies to Destruction. Here's the description for Finger of Death (also Necromancy but defined explicitly as Death Magic):
The target creature must make a fortitude save or die. If they succeed, they still take 3d6 points of damage, +1 point per caster level.
They both have nearly identical descriptions and effects. I can't see any reason one would be death magic and the other not, except one has the word "death" in its name.
