AoE spell failure
« on: July 29, 2018, 07:26:29 AM »
Before venturing from the Mist Camp last night we tried to do the usual thing, and buff ourselves - to find that the buffs would not affect the entire party.  Only certain individuals - and usually the same ones - would receive the buffs, such as bless, mass mage armour, etc.  Even individuals who cast the spell would not be affected.

This bug happens now and then. Mass spells are cast, but do not fire their effects on anyone within the area of effect, or only on a couple that may be unbugged at the time.

Spells bugging out this way include:
Healing Circles
Mass Shield of Faith
Mass Spell resistance
Mass Haste

I'm told the entire group of people has to relog for the spells to start working properly again. This happened today in the Temple of Anubis.

Thread necromancy.

This continues to be an issue in a number of open spaces, particularly in locations such as Harvest and Anubis temples, as well as the Troll cave. Hallways seem more reliable. AoE buff spells do not hit everyone in their radius, and I wonder if it's a problem stemming from the tiles in those tilesets?
