An Ezrite black coat was seen dragging a tiny woman through the inn and up the stairs, she was laughing, teasing him the entire way. He took her into the farthest possible private room from the stairs and locked the door behind them...no more laughing was heard for the rest of the night.

Dishes and some towels are left outside the private room at the end of the hall, though the inhabitants haven't been seen leaving for anything.  Coins were left under a napkin, it is presumed to renew their stay in the room.

A barovian and a guard where seen going upstairs of the blood of the vine only later to return with a woman that the barovian was holding.

it's been said that the guard was yelling at the wounded woman right uptill the moment they parted ways in the morninglord compound.

Outside the Vine, at no particular time of day or night, growls of anger mixed with panic and pain can be heard filling the street.  There seems to be no pattern, no coherency, to the eerie sounds.  Its as if it originates out of thin air.

A Knight Clad in blue armor and a golden raven crest has taken um residence in one of the rooms at the blood of the vine tavern. Locals see him wandering the village streets and visiting the Morninglordian church everyday or so before returning to the tavern.

When asked what he is doing he merely says, "Helping those in need."

A man in a dark long coat has checked into a particular private room for the past several days, and hasn't come out. Several deliveries have been made to the room, and those looming closely have seen the transactions done at the door, through a crescent opening.  Loud crashes have been heard in bouts that break up long periods of deathly silence. When asked who the guest is, some will only say "the detective."

Some patrons of the bar speak of a crippled priest of the temple of the northern part of the village coming in for barley beer and to fill what looks like a ragged bag with water.

The inhabitants of the bar talk of the day.  Everything is quiet, nothing is untoward.  A loud sound was heard around midday, it is said, but it was dismissed as mere fancy, as nothing but the roar of distant thunder.  Life continued on, in the village that has not yet learned how to die, and yet ever seems to seek it.

But there was a moment.  Just a moment, that no one talked about, but those that were sitting silent and nursing their cups thought about, in the quiet of that slow evening.

For just a moment, the sun shone a little brighter.  The world felt a little warmer.  The clouds slipped away.  Just a moment.

Just a moment.  But maybe, it was enough.

Thick smoke billows into the sky over the Village of Barovia as villagers and garda scramble to contain and quench a fire that rages from one of the homes.  The interior is fully consumed, ash and soot all that remains within.  The stone masonry on the exterior of the structure, luckily, showed little evidence of the intense heat of the flames.  Likely due to the quick response from the village's inhabitants to extinguish the roaring flames.

Rumors swirl of the cause, though little is actually known.  All that can be garnered from the gossiping is that domicile was owned by the native Dragos Bogoescu, a notable proprietor of rare and exotic liquors and wines.  He was renown as a connoisseur of libations and sommelier, though incredibly reclusive and aloof...And he hasn't been seen since the fire.

As the evenings pass, a curious sight is noted in the Blood of the Vine.  A man, in the part of the inn where music is often played, out of the way and at a table, sits drinking wine and scribbling in a rumpled, tattered notebook.  However, far from appearing as a scholar, it has been noted that he is also very heavily armed, with various trappings of weapons, equipment, armour and packs and bags of various kinds of equipment.  He appears to be waiting for something, or even someone, patiently spending his days and evenings there, but from his mutterings, seems to be a figure of ill temper.  Before him on the table is a scribbled piece of parchment, with words written in Balok, High Mordentish, and the Trade Tongue:

The Bloodhounds

"For the purpose of investigation of mysteries, uncovering of secrets, recovery of lost loved ones, or vengeance on their behalf, against the creatures and beings of the night.  Fees affordable, results guaranteed.
Leave word at the Blood of the Vine."

A blond man with purple eyes has been seen speaking with a lady and with the innkeeper Bray Martikova. Dilisnya poisoners were mentioned, according to a patron, though some other patron claimed it was related to some history classes to be kept in the Inn. It seems the "Professor" is pondering whether hiring the full first floor for six months for this, Bray asked for an absurd price for it. For sure the locals will not like many people coming over their Village.

A brooding trio of heavily armored warriors march in and out of  tavern. They collectively bare a dark green cloak with a pitch black gauntlet sewn on.

Lately, they came in marching with a wider and always wider company.

A raven-haired woman and three armored men arrive well after sunset with drawn and serious faces. They retire to a private room. From underneath the door, the light shines until dawn, and muffled voices seem to discuss in measured but sombre tones a matter or matters of serious import.
