Jorgen Ivanolich's troubles seemed to be over, but a few days after the outlanders aided him with his problem, things returned and were worse than before. After being humiliated by his neighbors and his wife, he sought help from the Morninglordians in the Village. Unfortunately, he waited to long, as his young daughter was found suffocated in her bed just last night. Jorgen was seen to have two black eyes, a broken nose, and walked with a limp as he made his way grimly to the Sanctuary of Blessed Succor.

Viccar Miklos has put out a call to any and all who are experts in ghosts or such to help this family. Jorgen was able to sell some family heirlooms to raise 500 fangs to pay for the ghost elimination.

//likely monday for any who answer the call

An elven Morninglord priest witnesses Jorgen Ivanolich entering the Sanctuary of the Blessed Succor and heard him ask Vicar Miklos for help.

The elven priest was seen to raise one eyebrow as he muttered to himself:  "They know where to go when they need help".

Feeling momentarily ashamed, Calor let his better side take over.  He prepared for the coming fight.

*it has been rumored that the mystic from the morninglordian church in valliki has been seen once more in barovia. She was rumored to be seen arriving in the earliest hours of morning and heading to the church. Some believe that her and the companions with her were sent from the valliki sect to help deal with the spirit problems as they did with the undead murderer who plagued the town not so long ago.*

Atlantia has been seen resting and relaxing at the church in barovia, after having a troubling conversation with arik and sending him back to valliki. Her expression has been grim and she has been seen spending much time with her fellow light carrier vasten. Rumors have already spread of how vasten prevented a great darkness from entering the lands. Atlantia has been spending her time brousing the library at the temple to educate her self more on spirits as the group rests and prepares for a talk with the vicar about the haunting at hand.

A pair of ezrites known as Bolson and Wiltin from around the village are seen prowling the areas around the village. deliveing much fresh meats to the village as well relaying to the local guard of the areas traveled of the various nerui packs in the area. Bildrith is also seen getting a few nicer items then usual that he carries.

The pair are overheard talking down the main street together one day. "...Guess we still got work to do eh Wiltin?" Calson says.

"Aye Bolson, aye, its a shame about that lady..." He says and sighs then whispering to him to avoid scaring the peasants about the spirit problems

A couple of performers have been seen at the Blood of the Vine. One of them is a regular patron there, and usually wears a feathered hat. Moving around the small village, she notices some turmoil and mutters. "Awh, I hope more heroes come here to help!"

Two morninglordian light carriers were seen in the night playing what apparently looked like tag near the herbalist hut. Laughter and prayers were heard as they chased each other about playfully.

It seems that even in the darkest hours, those of the light are still trying to have fun and make light of the horrors of the night.

Several nights ago the temple mystic of valliki was seen entering the church in barovia village, she has not been seen to leave it at all save to tend to the sick and poor of the village. Some say that her eyes have been red rimmed and tired and that her mood has been very quiet in conversations of late. Even those who visit the church say that she remains quietly waiting at the back of the church, heeding the vicars call when ever he has need of her, but that she is always staring at the ground with out a sound, and occasionally those who visit at night swear they hear crying from the back room where the common rest area is.  So far she has only offer kind smiles to all who ask her if anything is wrong and telling them no, that things are fine and the morninglord will provide.

A newcomer had been arriving to the Blood o' the Vine in, oftenly dressed in a hood and seemed to keep to himselff when not around certain people he knew. He seem to follow the performers that put down their bags in the inn, atleast the one with the hat.

Coming in everynow and then with more coin or more wounds and scares, sometimes even late at night. And of late...in a purple and black clothing!

Few farmers and locals discuss one night of the return of Roland, the Zeluf's youngest boy. He was back for a season then gone again for the rest of the year until showing up only now in spring ready for the new crops to be planted. "Saw him with his niece, well ah figure it be his niece. That girl that moved in with them a few seasons ago. Figures she got belly full with the older brother."

Two ladies have been seen regularly performing at the Blood O' the Vine inn in Village Barovia. One is dressed with typical Vistani outfits while the other usually wears feathered hats. They are easily recognizable because of their purple cloaks. Someone has heard one of them shouting that it was not purple, in fact it was dark amethyst. One of them has a tendency to shout.

Their shows includes songs, dances, puppet shows. The audience has welcome them rather unenthusiastically so far.

*As peasants gather round for some warmth and ale, rumors begin to spread about the guard transferred to the Village. Many of them are dumbfounded and think it's a joke when it's said that the new transfer is actually a woman soldier.*

Rumors abound of a rip inside the cultists called morninglordians. One member was heard to throw down his cult paraphernalia and walk out of the church grounds naked, screaming he would not be associated with murdering soul rapists and that he had been tricked by fae again.

There has also been talk that some young woman had been murdered and then made to walk again, as if it was an everyday occurance. Locals worry that the dead are walking again.

*people stare at the man causing the rumors and shrug since the person rumored to be murdered was within the Blood o' the Vine after the alleged event.*

Ignorant outlanders nu know the difference between assult and murder. Real simple. Murder people stay dead. *Lucian continues to sip his drink changing the topic.* Did ye see the loon at the temple runnin round naked cept for his cloak? Them fey cultists...to bloody forgivin if they let that sort of nutter in their temples!

Belinda has been seen with reddened eyes wandering for the inn, playing sad songs with Viviana Trandafir at the Blood O' The Vine. The girl seems to have lost most of her joy and seems to be singing and playing only about lost love. She seems to be sleeping less and less as if she were scared even by her dreams themselves. For sure she has not been seen in the whereabouts of the local Morninglord temple.

//technically should be in Barovia's church, but this is closest

Two women were seen exiting the Morninglord church in Barovia shortly after the arrest of Father Miklos. One wore white, the other red. The one in white seemed to be leading and supporting the one in red. Almost a day later, the woman in white's corpse was carried back to the temple, a violent bruise ringing her neck.

Whispers begin to spread of the return of the Cult of Zhakata, that the devourers performed a fel sacrifice on Lysagia Hill, and someone...unwholesome, and utterly evil was summoned. A simple message spreads through the undercurrent of dive bars and taverns, betwixt outlanders and natives who care to listen to such talk of evil-

The mood is somber at the Blood of the Vine after the tragedy that lost several men of the farming community their lives. Many come to offer their support to the Widows, making offerings of food and fang.

Several Outlanders and seekers of fortune are seen at the Blood of the Vine. The Burgomaster herself was present addressing herself with some of the widows. It is said that those visiting the Village with purpose of slaying the beast, will be given free shelter at the Blood of the Vine.

Some dread the announcement, as the notices have brought some fey to wander in the inn. Rumor that already two have taken shelter at the Blood of the Vine, much to the disdain of the locals.

Rumors circulate again among the patrons of the inn, center of gossip of the small village. A new guard appeared in town today, early morning a woman in the rusted armor barovian soldiers wears, walking along the streets and alleys and tracing each and one of them in a small book. Friendly and approachable, the woman does not seem to mind the glare or gossips due to her sex.

"That Noica!?" Mutters Mirela, the waitress at the Blood of the Vine.

"-Nu, but another unu of those."  Says another patron.

"Different name, same man deviant manners. Vallaki folk, can't expect much." As she watches her Crina walk by with a forced smile.

Life continues as usual, patrons avoiding the two tables with dried flowers atop of them, said to be the ones lumberjacks and farmers frequented before the mass murders of the infamous neuri widow maker.

Another widow stops by, another flower replaces the old. Another man of the Village is remembered

A merchant, weary from the road, and possibly mad from sun, rambles on to any that listen about the horrors he spied in the distance while crossing the river Ivlis.
"Demons", he whispered.  "An' the livin' dead."
"They were attackin' that camp up in the hills, they were.  It's nu natural, that place."

Tragedy strikes the Blood o' the Vine, as a knight-errant wearing black and white, a long flowing hood and a cloak, bearing numerous symbols of Ezra, appeared and began to slay various patrons seeking respite from the day's work. The adventurers and outlanders frequenting the Vine, such as Pavel the Upright, along with the more resilient patrons, such as Cezar Vatralau (who claims to have repelled the creature), appear to be alive yet wounded. If pressed, they would say without certainty that the "holy man" was some sort of vampire.

Bray Martikova, the bartender, lies unconscious, though he appears for the most part stable. Viviana, the local entertainment, lies on the ground, two puncture wounds in her neck (likely the work of elongated fangs). Her face is pale, showing all the signs of a vampire bite.

Without a doubt, the village of Barovia, a town already slowly dying and being eaten away at, has suffered much this day. The Barovian people make gestures against evil as they pass by the tavern they once thought was safe.

Two figures not unfamiliar to the common patrons of the Vine have been seen darkening the doorways and holding rooms within once more.  The towering armored outlander bearing the symbols of some foreign cult, and his ever present alabaster skinned beauty have seemingly returned to the familiar haunt.  Overheard murmurs between the pair contain talk of "others", "service", and "arrival".
