Barovia - Mt. Baratak - The Monastery of Silver Threads

In the late hours of the night, those who pass by the Monastery grounds could see a bright flash of yellow light emanating from the courtyard, it's followed by an agonized scream and soon all goes quiet.

The heavy doors open once again hours later, and a tired looking man wearing an orange sash leaves, descending the mountain.

Yet again, a commotion can be heard from beyond the heavy gates of the Monastery's courtyard.

A pillar of flame and a flash of light far brighter than that is all that marks the disturbance from the usual dead winds of the mountain pass.
Not a soul is seen leaving or entering the courtyard as the frigid mountain breeze whistles through the valley.
