While there is still time, you must leave the Capital. The way is still open to the south, and those passing unarmed into Chateaunoir and Mordent will be allowed to proceed unharmed as long as they make no sign of turning back. All Gendarmes and other servants of the Council surrendering their uniforms and arms will be detained in good conditions until the end of the conflict and then allowed to go free. Do not remain to die for those whose defiance of the wisdom of Leon the Founder and disregard for tradition and heritage have brought us to this precipice. Leave now, take yourself and your families to safety, and your lives will be protected. One the siege lines have closed, no one will enter or leave the city without the Maitriser’s word.
You are being given this gesture of goodwill as proof of the intentions of this solemn Covenant. Do not squander it.
