graphics help
« on: January 10, 2018, 05:24:55 PM »
Hi Community

I have just COG purchased an installed Nwn Diamond on my Bootcamp/mac  windows 7 64bit

I was hoping to have an explore of Ravenloft as I love Roleplay and have heard good reports.

I am a exNwn2 player but have never used nwn1

The game runs ok but is unplayable due to flickering horizontal break lines every 2cm

I have tried various NVidia card settings to no avail.

Can anyone suggest anything.

Thanks

Iridni Ren

There have been a lot of issues with NVIDIA drivers posted about in this forum if you dig around. I never had the issue so I can't explain to you how to fix it, but it seems to involve (for most) rolling back the driver to a previous version.

I also found this on the Web: https://www.gog.com/forum/neverwinter_nights_series/nwn_diamon_flickering_screen_no_matter_what

If no one more savvy responds here, you could try chat because I've seen helpful players interactively troubleshoot there (which can work a lot faster).

The Chat is accessible via the button at the top of the forum.

My windows cracked, but they can be replaced.

The last Nvidia update was a mess. I reverted to the august one and it works like a charm

Did you try putting your nwn graphics setting at minimal?
