The battle of the Col de Sangue was over; the Company of the Fox defences having repelled a first assault only to eventually be shattered by a second, much heavier, attack. Victory for Maitriser at last, though at great cost; hundreds dead or wounded. Amongst the Company's losses, Warden Agnès Gauthier, chaplain of the Company, is reported to have been captured.
