Ramblings of the Mad Cultist
« on: November 11, 2017, 07:15:13 PM »
 A man is dead.

  Dead by my own hands.

I do not know him but by his nickname, "*****." He allowed himself to be consumed by the darkness within, enveloping himself in its taint. He has thrust himself into the life of my dear friend, *****.

  He raped her.

In this sinful action he robbed her of what innocence she had left. He has twisted her mind, wrapping her around his finger, bending her to his whim, using her as his pawn, turning her against her friends.

He was given the opportunity to repent, to turn from his path to oblivion. This opportunity he rejected, and further - he displayed no remorse, no inclination that he would not pursue his predatory behaviors.

And so, I have slain him, and cleansed the earth of his malicious taint.

I am not so naive as to deny that good may have yet lingered within him. However, he left me with no choice; I am duty-bound to protect the weak, to shield those in need from the foulness of the night and the evils brewing within. Thus, I could not abide him the concession of of release. For this, I am sincerely sorry, and for this I offer to you, my Lord, this prayer:

=============================================================================================================

Oh beloved Morninglord,
I thank You for this day, beautiful under Your watchful gaze.
In Your eternal radiance,
You have purged the wicked darkness of the night
and flooded the land with hope and new life.
For this, I am eternally grateful.

I thank You for enveloping me in Your warm embrace,
for granting me the life to draw breath.
I thank You for filling me with hope,
for imbuing me with the strength to help fight the darkness on this earth.

Oh Morninglord,
I pray that You will watch over the world,
that You will grant the sick the fortitude to withstand their ills
that You will grant the weak the power to overcome, and the meek the life to grow and prosper.
I ask You to enlighten the wicked, the wretched, the cursed, and the lost,
that You will guide them away from their paths to darkness.

I pray that dear ***** will recover from this terrible fate that has befallen her,
and ask that You guide her to her right mind,
I ask that You bless her with hope and wonderment
so that her smile may once again be radiant.
I pray that her rapist has been given just punishment under Your watch,
and was not brought undo suffering by my hand.
I ask You to purge him of the evil that consumes him,
and turn his soul to the light.

Oh Morninglord,
I pray that I have acted in accordance to Your message
and that I have brought honor to your name.
I pray that I may spread hope to this world as You do,
and that the darkness within me will diminish
so that I may be filled with Your light.
I pray that I may improve myself,
becoming stronger, wiser, and more resolute
so that I may better serve You.
I ask for Your forgiveness, oh Morninglord,
for I have let myself be limited by my own weakness,
 blinded by my own hubris,
and diminished by my baser emotions.
I pray that I may not succumb to the darkness within in my service to You
and bring shame unto your name.

Once again I thank you for this day, and ask that Your light guide my path.

Amen.

Me miserable! which way shall I fly
Infinite wrath and infinite despair?
Which way I fly is hell; myself am hell;
And in the lowest deep a lower deep,
Still threat’ning to devour me, opens wide,
To which the hell I suffer seems a heaven.
