Old Svalich Road - Raduta Farms

The lake's edge runs the colour of luxurious wine, tainted by sacrificial blood. The scene is quiet, only the chittering of water insects, and the barking of hungry birds.

A Vistani Vardo has stopped in a grove by the farms. It is surrounded by thick fog. No one, at the moment, has been seen going in and out from it.

Rumours are going wild about the visit of Bastion Otrava of the Second Sect in Vallaki. It is not clear if she's spending time in the Refuge of the Fifth Light, but it's given for granted she's going to be the one to celebrate the mass for the First Epiphany (5th of May) in former Von Zeklos, now Raduta, Keep.

More movements have been seen in the direction of a little grove by a pond, on the northern side of the Old Svalich Road, in that countryside commonly known still as Raduta Farms. After some months, a couple of Vistani vardoes have taken again temporary residence there. The local madman claims "the one who knows things" is again there, repeating the word "there" more than once. Other times Rugar greets the birds and calls some children upon, clearly stating he has seen a baby taken in the camp. Local farmers try not to pay attention to his lunacy, and they actually do not want to mingle with Vistani business.

Rugdar has claimed that he heard the word Vishnadd more than once during the night, while he was sleeping. He decided it is the name of some species of birds. On the other hand, the nearby camp of Vistani has been visited a couple of times by unfriendly people, and it seems two Vistani people are dead. No child was hurt.

After the assault, the camp seems to have been moved. Rudgar will not miss it.

Various corpses of slaughtered farmers begin to crop up.  Some look tortured to death... others are more gruesome... deaths ranging from being ripped in half, their intestines lying in the bloody grass, heads torn off, eyes gouged out, tongues ripped out...  Some are even hung by their own line of intestines or their throats ripped out...even one with it's spine ripped out.   There are some survivors... all have bite wounds...

Where recently a comely vardo and it's team of mules had been seen a note is pinned upon a tree, affixed by a dagger.

-: Many Barovians from the fields arounds Zeklos , Raduta and the Wachter lands lately seem to be rejuvenated with a new vigor of faith. Their devotion can be clearly seen as farmers and other workers alike can be encountered often praying to her lady in the mists and praising the saints at the Redoubtable Chapel of our Eternal Guardian... :-

[Through the dark hours, long after sensible folk have bolted themselves in their homes for the night, tortured screams echo across the farmlands of Raduta. In the wake of this terrible chorus, shadowy forms are left to twist and creak in the light breeze, awaiting a morning they will never see.]

In an area off the road towards Krezk, near Raduta, a memorial of sorts is raised.  The memorial is simple and surrounded by flowers.  The pillar is covered in rough carvings of flowers.  A single line of words is etched into the middle.

At the base of the pillar is a ruined note.  All the ink has run and splotched together, becoming unreadable.  Only a single word could be read.

The woods encroaching on the farms are filled with choruses of wolf howls throughout the early hours of the night. As the sun barely breaks the gray, cloudy skies and rain pours heavily down, a gruesome sight is found on the winding dirt path leading towards Raduta Keep.

During the dead of night, screaming, shouting and even barking can be heard from the farms near Raduta Keep.
It is not long before all three are silenced, pointedly ending with a yelp ringing out into the night.

Those that stumbled upon the site of the commotion would see a slaughter laid out before them.
