Animals opening doors
« on: November 13, 2016, 05:35:09 AM »
I dont know if it is supposed to be like this or not, but for some time now all creatures have been able to open doors.

It's a bit silly when you run away from rats or crag cats and close a gate behind you, only to find out rats can open huge doors.

I've noticed this in the sewers. It's odd.
Torgan Ironshield: Battlerager and smith
Wirth Darmington II: Roguish noble
Kurgh: A simple herdsman

Rats have tiny hands
But there are pigeons opening doors in Marchand - Port-a-Lucine. Explain that !

Pidgeons? PIDGEONS!? I'll remind you sir they are in fact seagulls and members of Dementliue's most elite fighting force Seagull Team 6.

The default behavior of AI is to attack (bash) any door that is between the creature and its target. The behavior of a door, if bashed and unlocked, is to open. I guess it makes more sense for doors that rotate.
