Salutations all beloved and endeared fellow prisoners of the Mists!
It's been two months since we migrated to our new server and while there's still some issues to solve and other things to improve on, we now feel fairly certain that this is where we want to settle for good. One main motivation for the migration was the increasing hosting costs at Google, ending up at close to 70$ per month for rather subpar performance, where we at our new host hetzner.de have superior hardware for just 36 euro per month (roughly 40$).
However, even if it's only half a year since we last asked for your help funding the running of the server and forums, the increased costs at Google as well as some overlapping costs while migrating have meant that we are already in short of the necessary funds to keep us online.
Therefore we once again humbly ask those of you who feel you have enough to be able to contribute, to generously donate a small amount to help us cover the running costs. It's important for us to stress that contributing in this way will always be entirely voluntary, and it will not grant anyone any advantages, claims or other forms of rewards or godlike powers in game - but if you feel you can spare it, we will be very grateful for any donation you might give and it will help assure that Prisoners of the Mists will stay online and available for months (and potentially years) to come.
It doesn't have to be by much as it all adds up, and all donations will go exclusively to fund the running of the server and forums.
