Item Name: Pistolier's Holster

Second, the gunsmith that produced this weapon used an electrum lined barrel which increases the reliability of the firearm and helps resist corrosion.

While there are many who consider these devices novelties rather than weapons, they have been used time and time to shape history. The reign of the dictator Armand Foquelaine was brought to an end with one of these weapons. His assassin fired on him in his box seat during a presentation of Lotharia at the Grand Opera National. While the original weapon of the assassin resides within the Musée du Port-à-Lucine, this replica is more than an adequate weapon for any would be sharp shooter.

Item Name: Infantryman Musket

Item Type: Musket

Description: Innumerable copies of this musket litter the cities, coasts and country sides of Dementlieu, They can be found in the forgotten fields of battle, the secret warehouse stockpiles of gunrunners and most importantly, in the arms of men and women marching to war.

Though this particular example seems devoid of a makers mark, its quality is plain for the eye to see. The barrel is free of rust and is polished to a near mirror finish. It's bayonet? Honed to a spears point. The stock is crafted from sturdy rock maple and gives the musket additional heft when striking with the butt of the weapon.

This is doubtlessly the weapon of a true Dementlieuese patriot.

These well made, decorated and rare blades are said originate in ancient times, wielded by a pair of brothers in legends. According to the legends, the brothers were bitter rivals, and eventually killed one another.

Though whether the legend that is true or not is a complete mystery, as no historical records survive of such an event, nor is there any indication of what were the names of the brothers.

One thing is for certain though, these rare blades are sought after by many a warrior for their power and are quite desirable as a result. They are made of Darksteel, Decorate with Brass and a Sapphire decorates the length of the blade.

Slings
I like slings, but there are not a lot of options to choose from. Here are some ideas for new slings:

1. Daybreak
Description: A seemingly ceremonial sling adorned with intricate gold finery. A rising sun is emblazoned on the inside of it's leather pocket. This insignia is warm to the touch.

Stats: A regular sling with:
-2 enhancement bonus
+2 attack bonus vs undead
+1d4 fire damage.

2. Giant's Sling
Description: These hefty slings originate from beyond the mists, in the outlander world of Toril. They are crafted by the giant clans of the spine of the world, where they are sturdy enough to sling large rocks and even boulders at unwary travellers. Such slings can be used to hurl smaller payloads with great force, but they are quite unwieldly.

Stats: A regular sling with:
+4 Mighty
-2 Dexterity
(If possible, 200% carry weight).

3. Rubber Sling
Description: This sling was made using modern alchemy, and the natural rubber of the Hevea brasiliensis tree. It can sling bullets at high enough speeds, to penetrate its targets.

Stats: A regular sling with:
+1d2 Piercing damage.

4. Iron Rain
Description: This confusing looking sling was engineered with a small relay that allows ammunition's to be quickly replaced after each shot. The craftmanship is excellent, though there is no clear indication of where it came from.

Stats: A regular sling with:
+1 Attack bonus
Bonus Feat: Rapid Shot

Sacred Symbol:

A holy symbol imbued with divine power which acts as an amplifier of some clerical powers and hardens the will. The wielder can feel confidence and absolute trust in their deity while presenting the Sacrid Symbol, however such faith can be dangerous when it suppresses normal caution.

Charisma Bonus +2
Will save: +2
AC -4
Reflex-2
Use Restriction: cleric

Note: I know we don’t usually see ability score boosts, but in this case, clerics don’t prepare spells with charisma and you have to be holding a holy symbol out to gain the advantage of increased healing/duration on the “turn undead” feats. So that means no shield. It would be a significant vulnerability for a small boost in turn undead, and the sacred feats like purification and sacrid healing. I don’t think there are a ton of other mechanical things associated to charisma for clerics. Could be a cool item for healers and vampire RP.

I had some taco-inspired ideas:

Item Name: Bane of Vraja

Item Type: Club

Appearance:
Top: 7 (Color 2)
Middle:25 (Color 1)
Bottom:25 (Color 1)

Description: Sometimes, when a mob goes to confront a mage, it doesn't always end well for the mob. These clubs are usually found on their bodies, the peasantry's collective hatred for vraja seeping into the weapon...

While the club -does- provide protection against pure magical force, it also had the unfortunate side-effect that the wielder would hear a cacophony of voices cussing them out if they attempted to cast any spell….

Yes, these broken blades have an unerring capability to find their intended targets.
Yes, these blades will hurt if they hit, regardless of whatever defenses your enemy may possess.

But the blade is so blunt, you're better off using it as a blunt instrument and even then, you better have the arm of an ogre to manage some hurt. And even then, it's barely effective.

Not to mention it gives the wielder an aura that compels anyone nearby to focus on them. Not exactly useful.

In fact, I dare say this is the most inefficient murdering tool I've ever seen.

I suppose it -could- be used to slowly, eventually murder someone, but why would anyone DO that? Torture, perhaps? Whips are far superior to such.

I'm close, though. Soon, I'll know who makes these things. I'll wrangle a proper enchantment out of this mess, or my name isn't J--"

Item Type: Clothing (AC 0)

Description:

In a land said to be far across the sea, impossible to traverse too, unless through the mists, is a place known as Rokushima Taiyoo. A wondrous place, filled with
beautiful treasures, fantastical creatures, and terrible dangers at every turn.

A Kimono, which in the language of Rokushima Taiyoo means "a thing to wear", is made from a verity of materials, and composed of multiple layers, ranging from the simplest of garment, to the most extravagant. The peasant folk typically wear simple, muted colours, dyed in a rudimentary fashion. While the wealthier folk wear brighter, expensively died fabrics, which they change to match the  current seasons. One thing that all these Kimono have in common, is that they require a second person to dress.

A number of imitation "Kimono" have found there way to the core. These "Kimono", are little more than robes, made to imitate the many layered garments of Rokushima Taiyoo. They are sewn and stitched, and can be fastened with hidden buttons, to ensure they can be slipped on and off without needing any additional assistance, while still appearing to be authentic.

Item Name: Death Covenant

Item Type: Amulet

Appearance : iit_neck_005

Description: This eerie necklaces seems to be made out of wires and shaped bones, a grimacing skull etched unto one particularly big piece. Legends say that long ago, an unknown outlander tried to bargain with Death itself, pleading to be given the strength of the undead. Sacrificing his firstborn, he was given this amulet.....But Death failed to mention the curse upon the amulet. For he who would indulge in unlife, would also share in their weaknesses.

The outlander was not long after slain by an errant fireball of one of his companions, the fire proving lethal. And so Death laughed at another soul gained.

Whether or not this tale has truth in it, various copies of the original bone necklace have been found around the core, and wielders cannot help but feel a faint chill on their backs when wearing one.....

Mightier than the Sword
item: quill
properties: has maybe 3 charges of negative energy ray
Description: You might know the saying 'The pen is mightier than the sword' that might just be the case with this special quill. Ink seem to have very special properties, if you try to write with it, paper just crumbles like dry leaf. Perhaps you should try to splatter the ink on someone or something you wish to crumble.

Item Name: Hadrian's Folly

Item Type: Cloak

Appearance : GreatCloak

Description: Hadrian was a particularly daring adventurer who managed to trick Death into owing him a favor.

He demanded that the Entity enchant an item of great power for him, something would make him the fastest fighter alive!

Sadly, in his victory, Hadrian forgot to be specific. Death did as he demanded, enchanting a cloak which made Hadrian supernaturally fast in combat. But for his hubris, Death also layered in a deadly curse. For while the cloak made him quick, it also influenced him to lean into incoming blows.

So it was, not long after, that Hadrian leaned into a blow heading for his neck, the daring adventurer decapitated by a common bandit.

One may bargain with Death, but tricking it is unwise. After all, the Reaper always gets his due....

Whether such a tale is true or not, several copies of this cloak have been found around the core, ready for other wearers to repeat Hadrian's folly....

Apologies if I get anything wrong here, this is my first time trying something like that. I've gone into more detail on my reasoning here, as some of the items go above the recommended item value, but they are matching easily available in-game items.

These sorts of things are a classic part of French musical history, however, and they could be adjusted to be generic rather than attached to Manishie Chanteuse. I'll provide generic descriptions if she is not allowed to produce these herself!

These items are primarily intended for RP or for boosting the handful of Perform-based bard song abilities. I've based the values on what is already purchasable in-game. As far as I am aware, the max bonus from instruments in the game currently is +6, and is not difficult to acquire (combine Fancy Violin from Marcel's with Maestro bow or Fine-tuning on any bow). The Maestro's bow provides significant magical bonuses (two separate extra spell slot bonuses). Therefore, I feel that 6 or more Perform from these items is perfectly justified.

Item name: The Gallery Chansonnier, Vol. I
Item type: Fashion Accessory*
Appearance (for weapons: list the part number and color for the top, medium, and bottom. For armor, list the appearance number for each armor part and approx. color, for "miscellaneous" items, take a screenshot of the icon used and post it): 1, 10, 1
Description: Printed in the year 775, this is the first of the chansonnier songbooks produced by monthly arts publication The Gallery. Intended for beginner students of music, especially those of the lute and violin, this songbook features references for musical notation along with helpful advice. The songs are all written in High Mordentish, and the book features mainly popular ballads and Ezrite choral melodies.
Statistics: Perform +1
Toolset cost: 63

Chansonnier II is intended to compete with the more mid-range Perform items, at +4 Perform, it matches the Fancy Violin, which is easily available in Marcel's Shop.

Item name: The Gallery Chansonnier, Vol. II
Item type: Fashion Accessory*
Appearance (for weapons: list the part number and color for the top, medium, and bottom. For armor, list the appearance number for each armor part and approx. color, for "miscellaneous" items, take a screenshot of the icon used and post it): 1, 10, 1
Description: Printed in the year 775, this is the second of the chansonnier songbooks produced by monthly arts publication The Gallery. Intended for regular performers of music, especially those of the lute and violin, this songbook eschews references for musical notation in favor of grander, more complex songs and explanations. Many of the melodies were previously forgotten to history, recently dug up and highlighted for their beauty. There are even a few classic Opera pieces which have fallen out of popular memory.
Statistics: Perform +4
Toolset cost: 1001

Chansonnier III is intended to be the peak item, expensive or found in loot. With +6 Perform, it matches simply using a Fancy Violin + any upgraded bow. As a result it simply provides different flavor options so that not everyone needs to be a violinist. Similar parallel items could be made for the other instruments, to promote more diversity in instrument choice amongst bards.

Item name: The Gallery Chansonnier, Vol. III
Item type: Fashion Accessory*
Appearance (for weapons: list the part number and color for the top, medium, and bottom. For armor, list the appearance number for each armor part and approx. color, for "miscellaneous" items, take a screenshot of the icon used and post it): 1, 9 (color 4), 1
Description: Printed in the year 775, this is the third of the chansonnier songbooks produced by monthly arts publication The Gallery. Intended for advanced musicians and scholars of musical theory, the songbook includes details on achieving correct harmonics and makes use of complex techniques such as double-stops. Haunting Ezrite choral pieces can be found throughout, alongside long-lost opera librettos, unnerving dirges, and all manner of other songs. The tome is quite thick and heavy, and focuses a great number of pages on unpleasant diagrams of sound theory in relation to the arcane.

Performer's Mask

Item name: Harmonian Veil
Item type: Helmet
Appearance: helm_203
Description: A dramatic veil employed by performers in Harmonia, it is believed to enhance the experience of the audience by hiding the identity of the performer. These veils are typically made of linen woven so finely that they are slightly sheer, offering a tantalizing glimpse at who might be under the veil.

Performance Bells
Spoiler: show

Item name: Funeral Bell
Item type: Small Holdable
Appearance: 1, 8(color 3), 1
Description: Bells of many forms are used in funeral rites throughout the Core. The simplest bells produce a single ringing note, loud and clear, but smaller and more defined bells exist which are capable of playing entire songs or even being worn as ornaments. This bell was produced to assist in the duties of Port-a-Lucine's gravekeepers, and its reliable quality has seen it exported to the rest of Dementlieuse and beyond. It is of lower quality, however, not quite "in tune with itself" as the best made bells are.
Statistics: Perform +1
Toolset cost: 126

Item name: Harmonie Bell
Item type: Small Holdable
Appearance: 1, 8(color 3 or 4), 1
Description: A distinctive, stylish "H" marks this as one of the few bells cast by the legendary bellfounders, brothers Pierre and François Harmonie. The brothers were said to know incredible secrets of the nature of sound, and as a result were able to shape bells in perfect tune with themselves. The result was bells which produced the most haunting, unearthly tones. Sadly, their shop was destroyed during a food riot in Quartier Marchand, when the shouting of a nearby mob became magnified by the brothers' bells. The resulting domino effect had all the bells in the shop ringing with unstoppable force until the shop itself collapsed, killing both of the brothers and taking their secrets with them.

Charlatan's Cloak
Spoiler: show

Item name: Street Magician's Cloak
Item type: Cloak
Appearance: Hooded
Description: Designed to be turned inside out at a moment's notice, with a few hidden pockets. Can be folded into various styles for a quick chance of appearance or to hide an item which has "disappeared". While it is quite handy for fooling a crowd, its nature makes it cumbersome for combat due to all the extra pockets, as one foolish Dementlieuse street magician learned when he attempted to duel a rowdy audience member and instead got his hands caught in his own cloak while drawing his flintlock.

Impresaria's Foldable Fan
Spoiler: show
Item name: Impresaria's Folded Fan
Item type: Fashion Accessory*
Appearance: 1,4,1
Description: In the aftermath of the opera house massacre, many performer's belongings were put into storage in a hurry. Naturally many of these went missing quickly enough, including the stylish folded fans designed by one of the opera house's Impresarias. Just quite how these fans ended up in the hands of a street-seller in Quartier Savant is anyone's guess, but soon enough a limited number of these were making the rounds of Port-a-Lucine. They soon became all the rage among young street performers, who swore on them and often refused to part with them, becoming aggressive if challenged. A student of the university researching Dementlieuse history came across one and identified them as long-lost props of the famous opera house. He noticed a curiously dense amount of "powder" on the fans and published an essay describing it as ectoplasm left over from the ghosts of the massacre. The student was laughed out of his doctorate, but the story stuck, and the fans continue to enjoy a curious underground prestige among Port-a-Lucine's more quirky performers.

Erudite Book
Spoiler: show

Item name: Erudite Book
Item type: Fashion Accessory*
Appearance: 1, 9 (color 4), 1
Description: Well known as a village idiot, Aubert de la Chaize was determined to prove everyone wrong when he moved to Port-a-Lucine in 774. Perhaps more clever than he actually appeared, the illiterate peasant sold all he had and purchased the most complicated book he could find, a pair of spectacles, and a finely tailored suit. By talking himself into a circle of intellectuals, he was able to simply "borrow" their papers and present them as his own. The charlatan was able to keep up the ruse and win himself the praise he had long desired until he was eventually found out and tossed into the bay.

Not only is wielding this spear dangerous, but it has deemed an evil weapon by all four chapters of the Church of Ezra, as such, very, very few of these spears remain, and anyone wielding one is likely to draw the attention of the Church.

-Item name: Amulet Of Hatred

-Item type: Amulet

Description of the item: This copper forged amulet with a red ruby gem in its center is known in Barovian local circles as the Amulet Of Hatred. It is said in the past a barovian hedge witch was filled with such hatred for non-humans local to their land that they fueled their hatred to protect them. While the amulet’s creation succeeded the local village they were near found out of the ‘evil magic’ they were performing and came one day to bludgeon them to death in mob fashion. By then though the creation was done and by happenstance another hedge witch came by later and found the notes for creating these amulets. Unfortunately their creation in numbers seemed ‘cursed’ these copies sapping the arcane magics, skill use, and echoing a great vulnerability to blunt trauma from the original creator.

-Item name: Boots Of The Street Urchin

-Item type: Boots

Description of the item: These boots are made of thick warm assorted fur patches. This grants the wearer solid protection from the cold winters of Barovia and other domains. They are also well lined to avoid punctures from poisonous or disease ridden roads or other sources. However, their creator was a man who abstained from belief in the divine and this was reflected in their creation. Further the mismatched fur patterns that deliver their protections means they are often ill suited for situations of bartering or other performance related activities.

I will start working on adding more items to treasuries soon, I've seen a few item suggestions recently, if you want to suggest more of them, now is the time!

We're looking to add item for the disguise skill as well as item that could profit the voodan base class in particular. Obviously, feel free to suggest items completely unrelated to disguise or voodan as well, although I'll obviously be putting my focus on those two type of items for now.

Item Name: Bangle of Mediocrity
Item Type: Ring
Description: These rings were once one of a kind, made by a master enchanter in the Université de Dementlieu for an arcanist of La Société de Legerdemain.  The two worked tirelessly to hypothesize a way to keep "hidden within plain sight" among the many noble societies, studying the very nature of Dementlieuse fashion and summing it down to its most mediocre state.  After its success, La Société de Legerdemain began to commission more of these to distribute amongst its members and allies.

From their studies, the most mediocre finger decor in all of Dementlieuese fashion is a eighth of an inch thick, plain silver band.

Item Name: Link of Broken Chains
Item Type: Ring
Description: This old, worn signet ring appears to be of Souragnien origin, having belonged to some long lost aristocratic family. The hot, swampy Souragnien soil houses many plantations where this ring might have originated from, where ill paid workers are abused in to back breaking labor. The class issues of Souragne have left deep scars upon the people and many would argue that slavery still exists there, in all but name.

The signet itself is defaced and ruined beyond restoration or identification. When pressed in to molten wax, the signet reveals a strange quirk. The scratches and dents of the signet appear to form face-like features upon the wax, which appear to be wailing in silent horror.

As the bridge between the Loa and Mortals, Voodan are drawn to such curios, for they make fantastic bargaining tools with the Loa for their sentimental and historical value. In the right hands, this damaged signet ring bolsters the voodan's abilities by storing divine energies for later use.
