19-20 s the improved crit range.

unarmed is normally a 20

Edit: It isn't possible to have 19-20 crit range right away with unarmed since the feat requires a +8 AB.. or is it +5... [shrugs] anyways.

The only way to get it any lower is to have impact weapon cast on you.

correction the only way you could have a 19-20 crit range without the imp critical feat, is wearing hector's knuckle duster. which provides the feat while wearing it. I believe..

No. since the ring already gives the feat.. the actual feat does not stack. all that means now is, you're only wearing the ring for the +2 damage boost. that can only be taken if you had 4 levels of fighter.

Edit: So you'll notice if you take the ring off you'll lose the extra damage but still have 19-20 crit range. Imp crit feats don't stack.

It only showed up on leveling because you didn't have the feat naturally.
