A man clad in dark steel entered the small village, if it could be called that, speaking not a word to anyone but the innkeeper for a room.  The figure spends much of his time in the tavern.  When asked for his name, he simply said "Sollomovici."

The last few days has had a Barovian man stalking the length of Old Slavich between Vallaki and the Wachter estates. He has been advocating himself as a representative of a group of mercenaries and wishes to extend his group's services to the Wachters personally, even willing to pay for the privilege. During the day he is found outside of their gateway chatting quietly with the Guardsmen on duty and by the night he has returned to the Rustic Belvedere.

A young Barovian girl, no more than twenty-two years with pale green eyes, is seen standing outside the Belvedere late in the morning. Having ventured from the upstairs rooms and spotting some of the carnage, she went outside to survey the damage. She is seen stopping long enough to look at the blood puddle she's standing in, the writing, and the bodies, before running out the gates back in the direction of Vallaki.

A dirty blond haired man seems to be working regularly at the outpost.
Mineing and smelting, chopping wood and working them into various items.
He once or twice a week leaves for Vallaki to return with an Ox on which he uploads the items he has made and ventures to sell it in the district.
Apparantly this artisan has taken up work as a supplier for the Belsescus.

Like some angel of death to the bandit clans of the Wachter province, the layman Andrzej Tugurlan is rumored to be slaughtering entire bands of these criminals, leaving their bodies piled off the roadsides to be devoured by carrion.  Just one good sign to leave to these men who patrol the roads.

Come morning another sight of criminal xenophobia is witnessed by the local serfs and traveling tradesmen along the great Barovian highway. Kelos, a known vender and gypsy peddler lays murdered near his wagon of wares. Arrows and numerous booted tracks muddy the scene. Curiously noted would be the fact that none of his property taken, instead all his possessions have been burned and destroyed.

[Rumor spreads of a dreadful butcher with an Invidian espadon coming in the dead of night, ruthlessly cutting down men wearing the Wachter Family's colors. Word spreads that he was sent by the Countess to punish western Barovia and its people for throwing their support behind a pretender. A motley band of adventurers managed to successfully chase him away, but for how long?]

Proclamation from the Overseer of the Zeklos Outpost

On the morning of Februarie 6th two people were found standing over the corpses of good Wachter Soldiers. Slaughtered Private Vladimir Covaci and Corporal Nayden Bertzi within the patrol barracks disappearing instantly after their foul deed.
Any and all information on the ne'er-do-wells will be rewarded FIVE THOUSAND fang.
