Craftable Whips

Pretty straight forward. Today I noticed whips are not craftable. They would be a fantastic use of leatherwork and/or smithing. Could we get craftable whips at some point? I did a quick search and couldn't find any feedback about craftable whips in the past.

I'm not saying it's not a good stuff to add in the craft system, it actually might get people to use whip.

Some folks do. I've seen them in combat as a off hand weapon... I've also seen it used for RP punishments/ tortures.

My Sunite uses one but it's an underwhelming weapon on all accounts until you get a very specific whip that does 1d10 fire damage or if you have constant access to magic weapon.

You're most likey correct.. I just caught a glimps of it person was using two weapons and one was a whip... though I never figured out why you couldn't use it in the off hand.. It isn't hard.

I only know from personal experience since I have two bullwhips at the house and practice with them from time to time..

I imagine it's to prevent dual wielding whips. Because that'd break i m m e r s i o n

It's more immersion breaking to not allow dual whips, you can dual wield them IRL.

I took every whip feat i could to master whips, and it's pretty steller. I wish it was a bit tougher, i mean, whips ARE brutal. But I am happy.

I think the reason you haven't seen it, is because you've never been on the receiving end of it.
