Rumors and excitement continue to spread among the leisured as a celebration at the Blue Water Inn is said to be nearing. It is whispered that on the 29th the celebration will begin as the party guests will socialize just outdoors.

As Noapte nears, the guests will be ushered inside for the games at which point they will be given a numbered ticket. The numbers are said to be necessary for the grand prize awarded that night. Some suggest the prize may be a sum of wolf-fang, or an interesting jewel or painting, what is known is that it is a tightly kept secret.

Some have remarked they are an honored guest of the event having received a personal invitation from its host, Dmitri von Grulovich. Others, who have yet to be invited, have begun to seek him out to either impress him in character or affluence. What is supposed is that those who don’t receive their invitation will be trying to impress their host the last minute that Noapte for a chance at this mysterious grand prize.

Word will spread of a slaughter in the Noble District: a dozen or so noblemen and women, as well as a few guards, slaughtered by a woman in Ezrite armour.

On-lookers say that four bystanders, including another man in Ezrite armour, were later arrested and taken to the Citadel; then released...

[A Borcan man is seen screaming and covered in blood running from the Blue Water, only to pass out in the streets and later brought to the Ezrite temple for healing. Local guards questioned him about the assault, only to find he did not recall anything. Stranger still his chest bares a calligraphy drawing of a heart over his own.]

The boulevard going through Vallaki's noble district was lined with horse droppings and other animal waste, as well as the carcass of some dozen rats thrown into the fountain.  Accompanying these lewd display are several parchments posted haphazzardly indicating Gundarakite rebel propoganda.

A man wearing the typical uniform of Ezra's church is seen guarding the church property. Loud curses can be heard about cowardice and heresy, for those that looked out that night could see the man with mutton chops flailing around with a burning sword, killing rats whilst cursing out-loud. The man is later seen leaving the district as the sun is about to rise.

Smoke rises from outside the rectory of Ezra's faithful, where apparently some of the churches members performed a ritual and set fire to a dirty looking coffin.  The nobles of Vallaki looked on with a nervous curiousity, but kept a concerned distance from the ordeal.

[Word spreads amongst the gathering gossipers in the noble's district that something foul visited upon the Cathedral during the nighttime. Some say it was an evil creature, black as night that arrived after dusk.  There are rumors that the foul visitor released a monstrous spider as large as a horse that attacked with ferocity. Some of the clergy received bites that required treatment. It all seems fantastical speculation, only the Ezrites know for sure.]

A grim and macabre display had taken place early this morning in the Nobles district of Vallakai. Men and women were slaughtered by a skeleton. Not just a skeleton however, rumor has it a large man emerged from the shadows, taking a cruel iron shovel head to the barovian nobility. several messages were spread about the area. They were all grotesque and some of those messages pointed directly to the garda. "Find me "annoying", Garda? Very well I shall leave YOU alone then." "You should have pretended that I had stayed dead!" all messages were gruesome and grotesque written in blood.

A well dressed barovian gentleman has been seen walking the nobles district and spending time in the blue water inn.. apparantly he is a merchant from krezk, he has brought wide smiles, much hope, and more importantly to others.. much gold.

The well dressed barovian has made a habit of speaking often to the other wealthy folk within the blue water inn.. befriending.. buying drinks... sharing tales, and gossip. Adrian Von Viklov he is known as, he has a most respectful air about him, and has been seen on more than one occasion flirting innocently with the women. Though recently he was accompanied by a woman of mysteriously stunning beauty, in which he spent a time of fine drinking and shared excellent skill in dancing.

Like wildfire the word spreads throughout the Citadel and then the city, that the venerable Burgomaster Nicolai Ionelus has returned. The Citadel remains on lock down as the dust settles and the guilty are discovered.

A white robed acolyte of the Third sect seems to be spending a great deal of time measuring all aspects of the Church of Ezra building, both inside and out. He makes numerous notes about his findings and spends his nights at the Blue Water doing calculations and complaining about the wine.

As time has gone on.. A month gone by it seems Adrian Von Viklos has returned to Vallaki, he is seen frequenting the blue water inn once more, oft sitting in front of the fire.. Or spending hours locked away in his room in the inn. He seems much more quiet not, but still converses often with the other nobles, meeting old friends and old conversation parteners.

[Rumor spreads that during the siege of the Citadel by a large mob of peasants, a few broke off from the whole and entered the Refuge of the Fifth Light, breaking several expensive stained glass windows, disrobing and tying up Roman Tobeichik, and dragging the Sentire, Mugur Costinus, off to parts unknown. Mugur returned later, tarred and feathered. Absent were the Garda, who were either busy dealing with the goings-on in the Market District, or trapped in the Citadel by a wall of bodies. The wealthy denizens of the so-called 'nobles' district' have become rather uncomfortable, believing perhaps that they might become the mob's next target.]

Painstakingly hand written posters featuring Church of the Lawgiver propaganda and theological statements begin cropping up in the Noble District of Vallaki, by a black robed man.  A small majority of them seem to have been placed near the Refuge of the Fifth Light.

Many nobles begin to talk about their jewelry being stolen as more of their lovely rings and necklaces are stolen from them.

As reports and talks of the thefts from the market have lessened.

Theft seems to be at an all time high among the more arrogant of well off. Oddly enough, the people of means and wealth who are polite and kind have reported no theft at all. Rings, jewelry, a purse of gold here and there -  nothing in common with each other and all seemingly random, easy to take things. The only connection bearing on the caliber of the person being targeted.
