Word of court held upon the fourth of September soon spreads it way throughout the town. In this court:
The city's horse breeder, Festus the Gnome, brought up grievances long left unadressed: his home had been ransacked one year ago by corrupt guardsmen under command of Vasile Pavlenco the traitor and his wife was molested by that same blackguard - it was then revealed that Vasile Pavlenco had been apparently executed by the Wachter Militia when he had attempted to flee Vallaki during the custodianship of Vladimir Ionelus (confusing those who had heard that the same man was months ago terrorizing the streets of Vallaki once more!). He was arranged to have his damages assessed by the steward Orinal Romulich and paid by the end of the month to which he was satisified.
The Toret Siobhan McGilivray, one of the priests of the Refuge of the Fifth Light, petitioned for use of the park in the upper town for use of a festival celebrating the foundation of that temple as well as the people who had it made, the Burgomaster Ionelus consented to this usage of the park by them, and awaits their announcement of the day, hinting that he may come to do them, the builders, and his faith honor.
The priest of the Lawgiver, Kultur Nathrakt, unsuccessfully petitioned for the use of city land for a temple to his faith. The Burgomaster and many members of the council seemed to be visibly uncomfortable about the requests, with the conversation eventually leading to the land in the city either being privately owned or public and that at this time there were no vacancies and that the steward Orinal Romulich would "be in touch".
Lastly: It was announced the the Crafters Guild and the City will be hosting a great trade fair and harvest festival in October, to rise the spirits of the city as well as promote a day of trade and merriment that is certain to swell many people's coffers. As the date draws closer, further information shall be released.
