During early morning, two women entered the Sanctuary, followed soon by huge wererats. One of them, clad in an armor resembling the Rosy Dawn armor managed to dispose quickly of the intruders. The two women parted ways, one returning to the slums, while the one dressed in rosy dawn armor remaining inside to rest, not before inquiring to speak to anyone that was present in this Sanctuary one year ago or has been present here longer.

A number of fresh flowers--some clearly bought, some appearing freshly picked--are added to various places around the Morninglord temple, inside and outside. The giver, a small blonde woman, checks in over the next few days to remove any that are less than perfect and replace them with fresh ones.

Late at night, the cries of a woman in fury can be heard from the second floor rooms of the Sanctuary. Behind a door, a struggle is briefly muffled before all goes eerily quiet.

The Sanctuary of the Eternal Dawn falls silent during its morning prayers as the faithful mourn the passing of Nicusor Raducanu. A small memorial is held for the priest with Father Illie said to have shed tears for his old friend.

The cause of his death is not touched upon in the service - instead, only words of hope are imparted for the good the man has done, and the good the living will continue to do in his honor.

Two knightly guests, of differing faiths, make a grisly delivery to the Sanctuary of the Eternal Dawn. They leave with it a cloak to cover it, and some missives.

It was a fine, normal day in the Sanctuary of the Eternal Dawn... until, at some point, someone would enter one of the resting rooms upstairs, to find an eerie display there: a defaced statue of the Morninglord, painted and worked on as to make it appear like a young Gundarakite woman with dark hair and dark eyes, her throat slit and her heart cut out. It is gruesome, unsettling, and placed in the very same room in which an alike-looking woman had recently been medically examined.

Given time, the Vallaki congregation would notice that one of their members was not coming home.

Not long after that last gruesome discovery, another one would be made in the Sanctuary of the Eternal Dawn. This time, there was a female torso to be found in a bathtub on the upper floor, a note to be found next to it.

[With the arrival of morning, bells ring at the Sanctuary of Eternal Dawn. Faithful and alike are invited to communion, to gather for a sermon. After the crowd is seated, first the voice of a man with poise and determination fills the chamber of the temple, then the gentle speech and seraphic singing of a woman, the hymn joined by the congregation echoes. Near the evening, the crowd disperses..]

Since a few days, some boxes had been carried to reach the people in need in the Slums of Grey City, from Sanctuary of Eternal Dawn. It's known, the boxes were holding blankets, clothes, boots, gloves, dried foods, medicines, medical herbs, toys...made by both native people of the City and outlanders.

A lot more people seem to gather in the Sanctuary than usual at the break of dawn, and as the bells on the Sanctuary goes on for a bit longer, a long prayer is started and people of many faiths show, clearly an air of sadness as the last farewells are given to the Light Carrier Dragos who fell in the service of the Morninglord before his body carried by four members of the congregation was laid to his final rest in the cemetery behind the Sanctuary of the Coming Dawn with candlelight and prayer.

The normal mumbles of prayer are mingled with muted laughter and quiet conversation as multiple elves of differing origins are seen entering the Sanctuary. Each appears at different times, company no greater than two, leaving after a few hours of daylight. Once the lively voices are hushed a Sithican with jet black hair and a billowing white gown exits the temple doorway. He takes a deep breath of the winter air and sets off gliding down the city streets. Word quickly spreads that the very man has been seen exiting the temple at dawn to walk Vallaki, eyes never leaving the sky.

A woman clad in vibrant blues and yellows is seen bearing a small chest and slipping into the Sanctuary. She would frequent the place soon after, always finding herself there come nightfall and staying until daybreak.

It seems the Sanctuary had a new resident for the time being.

On the afternoon of the sixth day since the dawn of the new year, a priestess departed from the Eternal Dawn, carrying a suitcase in hand. Her expression bore a mix of pensiveness and slight weariness. A note awaited those who frequented the Sanctuary, informing that three days' worth of early meals had been prepared and easily warmed, and fresh, cleaned sheets adorned the beds. With quiet steps leading her towards the Residential district, a short gaze turned in the direction of the Vallaki guardhouse before she continued her journey onto the docks. She joined in the company of a few others, and together they would board the next boat heading eastward.

The church bells starting shortly after dawn denoting something at the Sanctuary of the Eternal Dawn, flowers and candles decorating the place both inside, those attending are surprised at the Baptism suddenly turns into a marriage! The fae, Light Carrier Alendril, and the newly baptised Brother Olliriar said their vows in a cheerful ceremony and shortly before the dusk bell rang the bells of the sanctuary played once again, this time a cheerful melody as the celebration went into the hours of the night of the new couple a few tears being shed for the newly weds both during and after the ceremony, though some say it is not all cheerful as the newlyweds are also bound for sithicus to preach the Morninglords word...

The priestess, who has resided and tended to both members and visitors in the Sanctuary of the Eternal Dawn for a while, can be observed moving about, gathering various items throughout the main area. She primarily spends her time occupied one of the private rooms on the second floor, shifting small crates with meticulous care. Although she greets others in passing with her usual courteous smile, her eyes display a deep well of sorrow and worry, and exchanges are kept polite but short. During where she is left be, her lips seem to move silently, as if engaged in continuous prayer.

[The sanctuary has began to look absolutely spotless, since yesterday. The culprit can be seen flitting through the pews, equipped with a broom, or a dusting rag, or whatever else is needed when the chamber is not used for worship. An auburn haired Barovian girl, in modest clothes befitting her class. Often a sullen look painted on her visage, she has been cleaning every corner, where she could. Seems to be a resident of the Sanctuary, for now.]

[An auburn haired girl, known to some as an acolyte of the Sanctuary and some as a local, stumbled into the Sanctuary this morn with an ashen look. Drowsied and having troubles carrying her steps forth, she was helped upstairs to the common room by one of the Light Carriers, where she remained for the rest of the day in a slumber.]
