::That same clergy woman with the white hair and silvery blue eyes is seen ranting about the selfishness of some people as she ushers Bach back to his bed, reminding him of his fevers, his health and the risks he is taking being out of bed. Despite her soft demeanor, her tone is both angry and concerned::

Few bums and poorer folks gathers at night, whispering among themselves of what they saw, guards attacking red Vardo agents, raiding Tigan's rest! Fight broke into an abandoned house to the south of the district. Best stay away from them hm.. before they go about their misery.

::Soft cries, and often tormented screams are heard from the private chambers of the silver-haired priestess of the dawn. She is rarely seen leaving her room except to bathe, becoming more reclusive and withdrawn in her anguish. What could have caused a woman of such devotion and strength break is yet to be rumored, except she was not like this until after leaving the Citadel::

*A carriage driven by a light carrier with another in the front is summoned to the Sanctuary of Eternal Dawn in the slums. A peasant in the streets swears he has seen Father Bach carrying a small satchel and two Light Carriers step into the carriage. With a stern voice Father Bach is heard saying "Make Haste. This vile thing cannot stay here. In the Morninglords name I vile destroy this." With the crack of a whip the carriage leaves at a swift pace*

A donation to the church of the Morninglord will be made for each bags of herbs delivered.
The mushrooms found inside the crypt or herbs from the field are satisfying.
The donation given can be handled at your convenience.

Lightcarriers discuss the most peculiar event that happened earlier during the day. A body was brought in for blessing but it seemed it was missing legs and arms, only all the bones of one arm remained attached. It was filthy and stunk of all hells, even dropped maggots on it's way to the altar. To their great surprise, the outlanders in white armors that carried the body asked for her to be brought back to life! So Illie did.

The horror, the girl screamed and moan as they brought her upstairs. Anyone who came and saw her felt sick to their stomach. The sight of the living torso in tears left horrific visions into the mind. For hours Mother Lizuca and mother Ana worked and prayed and blessed the girl, growing back painfully each and one limb, restoring her skin and cleansing the sickness from her body. Scream of pain echoing across the shelter.

Bed sheets and carpet had to be burned, soaked of pus and ooze that came from her wounds, the room cleaned from floor to ceiling to rid of the fleas and maggots that crawled all around. Even the bathroom was a mess when they were done washing her for the third time, layers of filth covered the tub's sides. All speak of brighter days, outlanders smiling as they come to see the girl that finally stopped screaming.

Later that week she is seen walking slowly around the shelter, eating and drinking avidly. Seemingly in a state between euphoria and hysteria, she speaks very quietly between her tears. Melanie West is the name on all lips.

Soren Nexus spends his days and nights at the Sanctuary looking over Melanie, not sparing her any comfort.

*Two Ezrites are seen entering the Sanctuary. A Light Carrier prays at the alter as Father Ilie takes in grave news, a pillar of calm in torbid times.

Father Ilie is later seen informing Father Bach of this news in person. Harsh words of anger, frustration and sever disappointment in a thick Falkovnian accent are heard from the street.*

*Father Ilie is seen slumped over a desk writing, quill pen and paper in hand. He appears to not have slept in days, appearing haggard and old*

A garda recruit was seen entering the Slums church of the MorningLord, inspecting for presence of Calibans. After inspecting the kitchen she headed upstairs. A great scream was heard then nothing. Traces of blood and fights are found upstairs but no trace of the garda.

*Dumitri has become a bit more aggressive in his pan handling. His source of food and shelter removed. The Sanctuary in the Slums is boarded up tight. All is quiet and still within. Dumitri if asked says he heard the kind Morninglordians speak of fearing for their lives and fleeing to safety and watched as they left by carriage.*

[A carriage travels swiftly from the east heading through Vallaki stopping behinds the Sanctuary of Eternal Dawn. Barovians, typically dour brighten seeing a friendly face return, pulling the boards off the temple. Father Ilie is seen entering the temple, the doors remaining open to all whom enter in peace as boxes are unpacked laying about.]

Soren Nexus has retired himself to the Shelter due to wounds sustained in combat. Strangely enough, the wounds don't seem to magically heal. The only hope seems to wait it out. Katrina Wands seems to be often on hand to care for him.

Beggars turn out dead, rumors run among the poorer of Vallaki of demonic rats and neuri running amok the city streets, as if the sewers themselves could not contain the filth that oozed there under for years. Vomiting into the streets, the spawn of ladul itself.

It is a weakened, thick bearded Horatiu that made it to the Sanctuary after a brutal whipping administrated by Dagris the Cruel. Lizuca at his side, the mood is stern as he is recuperating from his wound and long captivity.

Maryn just grimaces at the sight, then calmly makes sure he has everything he needs in the way of fresh food and water, and hot tea served to him, and sometimes just waiting around to see if he needs company when the other priests are busy with their duties.

Rumblings and unholy sounds were heard coming from inside the slums temple while the very building shook.  Suddenly all was calm.

It was rumored a dangerous, but necessary, ritual involving 2 priests had taken place inside.

Great tragedy stroke down on Dvergenheim. The tremors had increased and many dwarfs had fallen. Some fled to the mountains. Some mad. Some in fear. And just slowly they come back to their once so noble halls, to rebuilt what had happened there.

Rumours speak of madness. The king it is said had become lunatic and he was missing for a long time. Whispers speak of some even greater evil below the old mines. But about no dwarf can or is willing to speak about it. Whatever had happened there, the trails of slaughter and the mass of blood and gore on the walls are proof enough that something sinister had happened there...

When this news reaches the shelter, Maryn refuses to speak of any of it, shutting herself away in a room until the topic has clearly changed. Some light carriers comment that the day this tragedy took place was the same day she arrived in a state of panic and uncontrollable sobbing, although she doesnt seem to have spoken to anyone but Soren about why she was so upset. If anyone presses to know just what is going on with her, she tends to have irrational outbursts of single words such as, "Bluetspur!" and, "Carmac!" and, "Dead children!"

After having vanished for a few days more, Maryn returns to the shelter, covered in blood from head to toe. When examined, she doesn't seem to be hurt,  although most of her skirt has been ripped away. She seems numb, distant, and cold. She states very simply that the threat that began in the dwarven mountain is over, then goes upstairs to clean up. While she seems calm enough back in her room, the next few nights are filled with screams as she wakes up frequently.

((IC reactions are fine here, if you'd rather do it ingame, just give me a nudge))

Soren often visits to check up on Maryn. Although his visage is stern and jaw set, one could sometimes notice his hand shaking from a severe repression of stress.

As the next couple days wear on, and she wanders the shelter like a ghost, she seems to be taking to irrational behavior. When greeted kindly, or even passed by in the hall, she seems to be constantly wary of death threats that do not exist, screaming at people who do not even have blades visible to, "Stop reaching for your blade! I won't let you kill me!" and other times solemnly asking, "Are you going to kill me now?" The rest of the time she simply wanders. . . vacantly, or sits on a pew, absentmindedly clinging to her Morninglord amulet.

[In her new robes of the dawn depicting her station as Light Carrier, the young red-headed woman many have come to know as Aly Addams is seen toiling about the main room of the Sanctuary grabbing clean parchment and sitting at the desk. She is brought tea and soup by her clergy brethren as she writes in silence throughout the night by candlelight, remaining in place until finished with her work]
