The illustrious tavern seems to have been vandalized at some point in the night, though repairs and cleanup were swift.  An upper story window was broken, and the door was splattered with festering scraps from the butcher's garbage can.  On the wall beside the entryway, a message written in the Balok language was scrawled with a fine pointed quill in hog's blood:  "The cost of a single night here would feed a family for a week.  Rot in hell you greedy pigs."

In the still of the night, during what would seem a party of some sorts a group of random noble's were found murdered in their room, throats either stomped in or slashed. While just down the hall a Vallaki guard was brutally stabbed to death, wounds covering most of his torso and obviously his life was taken when his throat was slit with a very sharp blade. The assailants seemed to have made their way out the window of the second story and made their daring escape into the early morning.

Rumors spread around the nobles district, among the men. . . a fresh new girl takes the scene at the Prancing Nymph. Irresistible, they say her gaze is.

:: A number of burly Mordentish servants have began unloading a fair amount of black, lacquered chests in one of the Blue Water Inn's finest rooms. The Ezrite Inquisitor Arthur James Rowley and his manservant are already in Vallaki for a suprise visit of indefinite duration, according to the locals working in the fine establishment. ::

[Rumors spread of some nasty tigan, a wretched vistani who frequented the inn. Brought there by of one of Ionelus' garda it is said the vistani spoke loudly and openly about the 'Devil Strahd' and even that he intended to visit the Count himself to see how his hospitality was. Many decided to retire early that night but could hardly sleep. Strangely enough some said that the management were too frightened of possibly violating Strahd's own laws to remove the tigan, and that was why he was allowed to continue his stay until the morning...]

After what must have been at the very least an entire year if not nearly two, the finely dressed gentleman known as Adrian Von Viklov can be seen returning to the blue water inn which he had been known to stay and dine at often when he was not out on some mysterious travel, traders venture, or about the city on personal business. He's payed for the room he always frequents when he comes to the blue water inn and every morning can be seen repaying for the same room. How long he is going to be back in Vallaki is not entirely known, and neither is what business has brought him back to the city- But as always, the raven-haired well-spoken man is ever sociable, ever open to a fine night of revelry, and as ever... His purposes and intentions are unknown. And by all appearances, the strange illness that has eaten away at his health and caused many a blood-filled cough still remains, but as always the merchant and self-proclaimed doctor assures everyone that it is not contagious and by all appearances the illness has never spread to anyone else who has come into contact with him- in any way

A pair of local Ezrites have recently taken up long-term residence within the Blue Water. The newlyweds are often seen in the early hours taking coffee and breakfast in the dining area, and then walking to the nearby church for morning prayers.

The previously rented room appears vacated as of the last day. The Ezrite Viorela Martel was seen departing in the very early morning hours with her small children along with two men escorting her. One of them is said to have born a striking resemblance to Inquisitor Martel himself. The trio along with the children vanished out of the inn, prepared for travel, and have not been seen together since.

A lone guardsman stands watch in the upper floor of the establishment, listening for any bumps in the night. He remains at this post for the entirety of the evening.

A Borcan man in breeks the color of wine has set up camp in the dining hall. His table is littered with a mess of parchments and arcane curios. You may gather that this is one of the members of Wine-Stain Trade & Scholarly.

Among the regulars and patrons in the Blue Water Inn, the gossip seems to be that one Adrianna Adamachi was invited early in the evening to the private quarters of Lord Svari Ionelus and did not emerge until morning.

A crestfallen woman veiled in mourning black has taken to haunting the Blue Water Inn. Though mostly consigned to her room, in those brief periods she can be coaxed from her quarters she floats about the common space, picking weakly at bites of fruit and sips of wine, brooding in some solitary gloom.
