Guests at the Blue Water Inn are furious, demanding repayment for rooms. Snobbish guests refuse to go upstairs because of the wretched smell which permeates the rooms, the beds, and comforters. On the wall smeared over a painting. "Dawn! Gundarak!"

There seems to be a small uproar of gossip in the ladies parlor, and knowing smiles to each other in the mens parlor, when their wives arent looking, of course.  Rumors quickly circulate that the infamous courtesan, before presumed missing or dead, has resumed her work with the local noblemen.  The ladies give her their typical disapproving stares, and mock her behind her back, and some even to her face, as being a shameless hussy, and commonwoman in nice clothing, but it doesnt seem to effect her business in the slightest.  She takes up her old room, and if anyone asks where shes been she simply replies with a vague smile, "Oh I've been out and about darling.  Seeing the sights of Barovia!"  One might detect a bit of sarcasm, but it's really impossible to say.

With the closing of the Broken Bell, it appears that some of the former patrons, those of the Church of Ezra, have moved over to the Blue Water Inn.

Guests are furious and demand their money back as they were forced to leave their rooms at the Blue Water inn as guards closed it down for investigation. They speak of a loose rodent in the inn, followed by the harsh smell of raw sewage. The guards have someone in for questioning. On one of the very expensive paintings was smeared the text "Rebels Rise!" with dark green dye.

The brutal assault that the very rich Blue Blood Henric Spirlea took in the events that led to the re-opening of the bank are on everyone's lips. Whispered that the man was taken under the care of cultists on the brink of death. Some talk about a woman of long dark hair and a man bringing him back to his suite.

Henric's conduct has been strange the last days, he addresses few and is seen reading a book by the fire, day in and day out.

rumors fill the inn, the topic of the night being that of the private party taking place in the viewing room. two Garda officials stand sentry outside the viewing room door. a handsome man in an exquisite red and black suit, and what looks to be a well dressed Foreigner, are seen entering the private gathering. the Guards close the door upon their entry.

the patrons below whisper among themselves, inquiring about the meetings purpose and who is among the exclusive crowd. after a few hours the staircase door swings open as two Guardsmen move into the room, the atmosphere falls silent. the only sounds that is heard are the clanging about of dishes in the kitchen, and the crackles of flame from the fireplaces. soon after the Burgomaster Ionelus himself and Vincent Von Zeklos are seen exiting the inn with the escort of Guards. upon their departure, the Inns patrons burst into Conversation. the room becomes an up roar of rumors and whispers as the Pianist begins to play again. the inn flourishes back to life, and for hours the patrons converse about the two Lords. but soon the topic shifts to Vincent Vasile Stravokov. what was his connection to such Lords of Barovia? and who was this Foreigner that accompanied him? the two topics become priority among the Gossip.

as Old Night threatens the land wrapping her dark arms above the sky. the Patrons make their way to their rooms and homes. leaving the Inn nearly abandoned. the shadow of a man, cast in the dim candle light can be seen under the viewing room door by passing nobles...

Rumors about the duel between Reknown Blueblood Vallaki's blade, Aurel Popescu and the young Stravokov that took place at the Eastern farms under watchful eyes of the farmer and nobles.

Rumors of the humiliating defeat suffered by Stravokov is on everyone's lips.

Women gossip that an uncanny show of sportsmanship and to the disgust of those present, the younger attacked his opponent even after being defeated. The noblemen are more discreet and shake their head, muttering about the shame such an act is. Some even go as far as prohibiting their daughters from even talking to the Stavokov's.

Less malignant rumors from the younger ladies make quips regarding the Stravokov's younger nakedness as he was stripped by Aurel Popescu in gesture of humiliation.

Downstairs nobles murmur about the entertainment they missed late in the night as feminine laughter and clapping reaches their ears from the observation room. Music both quick and light fills the room while dancing ensues.

To the surprise of many of the regulars, the glass and leather merchant Raimond Thernadier returned early to Vallaki. Rumors fly about his relationship with the Ionelus, his fortune, the reservation of the Blue Water's parlour for his exclusive use and his tales from travelling the Core. But perhaps what is in the mouths of all present is what he brought into the Blue Water: a fey maid.

After receiving a certain letter, Ruxandra Stanga is seen in tears.  The young socialite is seen crying for hours.  A small bag is packed just after sunrise.  She makes a stop at the bank, and is then seen leaving town via carriage.  Some whisper that she is traveling back to her hometown of Immol.  Others say that she plans on traveling with the Vistani back to her parents home in Port-a-Lucine.  Still others say that she is taking some time away from Vallaki at an undisclosed location.  Whatever the case, her valuables have been put in the care of her bank safe box.  Her gowns and shoes remain in the room that she continues to pay for while absent.

On behalf of anonymous player.

Rumors about Vallaki Guard known as Alexi Toskalov having recently been spotted rendez-vousing with a suspected Outlander witch a few times a week are spread on certain's lips during these times of crisis, sightings of consorting with suspected rebels and whores at the  Prancing Nymph. Some say he shares a red haired lover with none other than Valko Stravokov, malicious tongues mention him commonly seen at the infamous Tigan's rest entertaining his affairs.

the door to the Inn Swings open just as dusk transitions into Old Night. a figure stands in the doorway, Lightning in the far off night sky gives shape to a shadowed man who slowly walks in. the Pianist and the Patrons fall silent as the grave, as the wooden heel and sole of a slow stride against a marble floor echos throughout the dinning hall. the tall man steps into the candle light revealing himself. the look of shock on the nobles faces. his long red and Black silk cape at his back, the shield amulet bearing a Wolf's head around his neck.. Domn Stravokov had returned.

Vincent acquires the Key to his Suite and makes for his room, pausing a moment realizing the eerie silence and unwanted attention from the inns patrons. as the door to the Second floor closes behind him, the Inn Resumes its lively status and the piano begins to play. the nobles gossip around the man who had been dead over 2 months. some rumor him to be a witch of the Ancient ways who cheated death. others believe those rumors to be obscured, and argue the point that he was resurrected by the Local Cultists and their Congregation.

regardless, the topic's on the lips of the Inns patrons quickly turns to "politics and money" as the night presses on. Vallaki's misfortune, and the winds of rebellion continue to lingering at the back of every prominent Barovian's fearful mind.

Outrage.

Nobleman Vincent Vasil Stravokov, a witch. The word is on everyone's lips. Vincent Vasil Stravokov and his dark secret uncovered; guards stationed at the famous inn share their experiences with the infamous nobleman. Sightings of monstrosities and words of foul witchery that's been on going at the Second floor leaving none indifferent. Speculations about his affiliations with notorious people such as the Burgomaster and Korfsburg, words of witching mind control over guards and political figures spread.

"Who else?"

Needless to say, rumors about his sibling Valko Stravokov spread equally, the name of Stravokov forever tainted and unwelcomed in the higher circles of Vallaki.

Word of the public humiliating whipping Ex-Nobleman poseur Vincent Vasil Stravokov suffered at the hands of the garda. It is rumored that his own Cousin betrayed him on accounts of grave robbery and other illegal witch related crimes. Rumored that the Burgomaster himself attended to the flogging, stating the word Ionelus would forever be banned coming from the mouth of a Stravokov under the penance of death.

After numerous months of living comfortably at the Bluewater Inn, Ruxandra Stanga packs up for a short vacation to Immol.  While gone, her valuables are checked in at the bank and her room is paid for by herself even though she will not be using it.  Many of her posessions remain in the quiet room during her absence.  Her reason for leaving is unknown.

A very pale lady with a thick Darkonese accent has been seen recently attending the Blue Water more and more often. She spends many hours in the Vista room with a local lady, speaking of business. Someone could clearly overhear the core business being herbs and potions.

Guests of the inn were alarmed several nights ago by men dropping off crates at each corner of the building outside the inn.  In the morning the guards investigated and discovered farm animals inside each one.  The guards looked far beyond furious as they read notes left in the crates.

Rumors of the Sons of Gundar in action again spreads abound.

The word on everyone's lips at the Blue Water is the recent attack on the von Zeklos Keep. Freshly arrived nobles and servants of the Keep tell everyone of the atrocious and truly terrible ordeal they had to endure there when Night itself descended upon the Keep. What was to be a time of rejoicing and happiness for Vincent von Zeklos, the freshly recovered lord of the von Zeklos boyardom, turned out into a disaster. His bride kidnapped, his Keep raided but a day later and what is even worse...no one is quite certain of the man's fate. Vincent is nowhere to be seen, neither is his sister Nicoleta. Nobles fear for the worse for this powerful family. Their fate is uncertain.

In finely tailored attire a mixture of Barovians and outlanders are seen making their way to the cathedral of the "Dilsynia Poisonners" before night falls. Some speculate that a celebration is taking place in the aftermath of the Wurtbeich Heretics being routed from the lands, and go on to talk about how improper it is to celebrate when so many widows and orphans were born from the fall of Zeklos Keep. Others though noticed boxes in gift wrap being carried to the cathedral, suggesting a wedding was taking place. Many funerals are recalled to have taken place in the cathedral, and Warden Ward is overheard to pleasantly claim that it was about time for a wedding and happy occassion.

Word spreads quickly this morning. A vrolock, a thing of fairy tale to frighten unruly children, has attacked outlanders -not necessarily a bad thing in and of itself- inside the blue water inn. A woman was bitten whom now everyone shuns as cursed. The harpist is suffering from shock, darkness covering the whole second floor despite all the candles being lit. The guards having only seen strange mist that their weapons would simply pass through.

And a crazy outlander, yelling about a prophecy incomplete and the mists coming to claim us all...

Six Vallaki Guards where slain last night attempting to stop a dark cloaked knight from entering the Blue Water Inn.
The Guards where torn limb from limb. Survivors claim that this Dark Knight had red glowing eyes. This armored fiend attacked with savage feral rage and howled like a wolf.
