While the Fox is in Port-a-Lucine, criminals and those wanted by the Republic shall be hunted at our leisure.

The people of the city know of our deeds and we walk the streets day and night in search for our bounty. Keen for glory and wealth!  Wouldn't you wish to count yourself among the ambitious and bold?

Seek us out in our encampment southwest of the city!

[A notice goes up in the Company of the Fox camp.  It is written in High Mordentish and the Common tongue]

NOTICE:

Due to unforeseen circumstances, provisioning has been delayed. Current officers and recruits are to sign their name below in order to receive their fire retardant cloaks and incendiary grenades. Those who do not sign may be unable to be properly provisioned. As our departure draws nears, company members are advised to comply promptly.

The Fox Company returns triumphant from Mordent, our deeds spreading throughout the Core! The opponents of the Fox were thrashed in a force of arms!

In recognition of our service, Lord Jules of Heather House has declared that each member of the Company are hereby heroes and heroines of Mordent!

We are no longer in campaign and have returned home to Port-a-Lucine. The soldiers of the company are to report to the Baron de Larose for payment and further orders!

The Company of the Fox is still seeking adventurers, mercenaries, and those who seek fame and fortune!

Why not join a company of heroes? Heroes of the war against Falkovnia, heroes who have aided Mordent in its hour of need! Heroes that hunt down the criminals of the land each and every day!

The Company of the Fox continues to recruit those who seek to join our ranks, an opportunity to hone their skills and one day becoming heroes themselves!

The Company of the Fox shall train and drill this coming week and calls upon would-be heroes and the heroes of the Fox to present themselves!

//OOC

We'll have a training day once again tentatively on Tuesday around 7 P.M. EST

It may be subject to change.

Have you heard the sounds of musket fire, commotion outside of fair Port-a-Lucine? Why, you have heard the sound of HEROES training and drilling.

Perhaps, you could count yourself among their number some day! The Company of the Fox continues to accept prospective soldiers into our ranks. Seek us out at our encampment southwest of the city along the Baie de Sable!

Seeking fortune, glory, or honor? Why not seek all three? The Company of the Fox is searching for those, Dementlieuse or foreign, to join the ranks of our noble company! With many of our ranks surviving a trial by fire against Falkovnian aggression and aiding Mordent against Valachani aggression, the men of the Fox are among the most experienced and bravest warriors in the western Core! The adventuerous and audacious need only seek us out at our encampment along Sable Bay. Catch us drilling next Tuesday in the evening!

//OOC

Around 8 P.M. EST we'll have another training gig for people in the faction or those who wish to interact with us.

//OOC note: Alrighty folks, it might be because of me being a few years out of service now but there if there is anything that will be the death of me its the Saluting everyone bit.. So to help us all out a minor crash course into customs and courtesy for military.

Oficers: These are truly the only ones you salute.. Simple and easy... That being said there are still some rules to this. Captains are generally the highest rank. ( excluding all other Military rank in RL since mideval times had less ranks, you only salute the highest ranking officer present.. If you have multiple Lts. (Lieutenant)s You merely salute one.... if multiple come in and you have already saluted one that is present.. you do not Salute again, if you did it is saying they are higher rank then the one currently present. Not if a Cpt ( Captain) walked in behind a Lt first one to spot them is suppose to give the order attention and then Salute the Cpt. ( or... captain approaching attention...all what not... Be creative to pretty much say.. someone of more importance is approaching.)

Now Officers... you have the courtesy if you are going to be leaving and coming back.. be it a room... or where ever people are... you can tell them to be at easy and not Salute you every time... or they have to... Pick your poison. normally if it is a room or during training and you don't wish to interrupt or hold it up... a simple Carry on after the attention was called.... or you enter the room..

on to the NCOs... ( Non Commissioned Officers) These are practically anyone NOT an officer. IE Sargent or below. Sadly in the time we are at IG... there is Sargent... corporal... and private... in that order; if we wish to get fancy and make other ones in between.. so be it.. just need to then mark down what out ranks what. To my knowledge and what all I have looked up... You do not Salute to any of these... in Mideval times. ( you really don't in RL... you get in trouble... or you get your arse chewed a new one... or smoked... ( Extreme PT sometimes used for.. "corrective punishment" You will either get smarter or stronger... Heh...) That being said you still follow the order normally from the highest rank that told you what to do.... If you recive contradicting orders... well... use your best judgment IC and do what your character will do.

Now to further point things out... Most Platoons are formed from right to left. Highest to lowest rank. self explanatory.

Now say a officer walks up while we are in formation... the Platoon..( which is technically about 20+ people.... stand still and the person who is speaking.. ( this is normally the highest ranking member ATM is the ONLY one who salutes them.... if the officer comes up from behind said person SOMEBODY better say "Platoon attention!" or squad...yu get the picture... Squads are normally much smaller but I believe only the highest rank still salutes... ( never worked in a squad when I was in.. so someone who has can correct me if they are in Fox company and have served... also correct me on anything I might miss.. so long as our Captain gives the green light.) The person in front of the whole platoon will then look but sill normally About face turn and salute the officer and it will go from there...

These are simple rule and things for military groups to do, they are not hard... and nor am I going to enforce them.. I am merely leaving this knowledge.. ( with the green light from the Captain) for us to know.. and have a officers do with this knowledge as they see fit... :) Love you all and see you all IG

Until further notice, those who are not of the Company of the Fox, officials of the Republique, or have a permit written by Baron de Larose's hand are not permitted to enter the encampment outside of Port-a-Lucine!

Those who wish to join with the Company seek out Sergeant Jerome de La Salle or Baron Osker de Larose within Port-a-Lucine!
