OOC NOTICE

Gendarmerie Nationale represent the enforcement of law within the country of Dementlieu and the bounties listed below authorize use of force to bring in the perpetrators of crime. The sentences for these crimes may vary and characters may seek to negotiate with active members of the Gendarmerie to resolve hostilities within the region. Success is not assured and will be dependent on the severity of the crime and the efforts made to pursue a peaceable resolution.

Should severe and repeated criminal offenses occur against the country it is possible a character may be condemned in the depths of the Gendarmerie holdings where escape is not assured. It would only be through significant aid, and significant risk to these allies, that the condemned might be rescued from this fate.

If you have information regarding these attacks, they will be rewarded on an individual basis in regards to their integrity and detail.

They tend to wear antiquated full plate armor covered with quilted surcoats (one dark blue, one red), and closed bascinet helmets. They were last seen in Quartier Marchand, where they 'respectfully declined' to turn themselves in to the Gendarmerie. The pair were able to evoke a swirl of darkness to shroud their departure from the city. Likewise, they are known to be capable of powerful necromancy.

Their manner is erratic and volatile, and they are quick to threaten violence. Exercise due caution when approaching these individuals, for one is rarely travelling without the other.

... that a man of status and of noble birth, is not truly noble at all, if he does not understand the importance of CLEMENCY and FORGIVENESS. As such, I do formally RESCIND MY ADDITION TO THE BOUNTY placed on M. Pavel Holsworth and M. Waldemar Holsworth, and do humbly submit a request to the Gendarmerie that the charges against these men involving myself and House de Coursay be FORMALLY DROPPED. While this shall likely not affect other criminal charges the two men have, I hope that this shall demonstrate my interest in seeing all that has happened brought to a diplomatic resolution.
