Characters gone

So, due to issues with my computer i had to install nwn on a new one. That being done i realise i do not have a single character left.  The cd keys are the same as before though. Is this suppsed to happen?

Did you forget to write your account name with a capital letter? Or did you normally write it in lower case and accidentally added a capital letter perhaps?
