Smelting Bronze
« on: March 22, 2015, 10:28:59 PM »
I know most people believe copper+tin=bronze. It's what I knew prior to getting into crafting, and what I've been told ICly by other characters.

At the smelter, I tried copper and tin ore, and I've tried copper and tin ingots. Still no bronze.

Is this an issue or is the recipe far more complicated?

You might want to play with your quantities, it is not a 1 for 1 ratio.
Now ore or ingots, I'll let you discover but it is indeed a mixture of copper and tin and nothing else.

Yes i don't fully remember but I believe it is two tin bars for every three copper I don't remember I would need to log on my old Smith and pull up her journal again to find out exactly.

There have been issues with copper at the smelters for a while now. I'm not sure if that was ever fixed, but if not that might be the problem

When in doubt: Three of everything.
