Vistani Captain immunity to mind spells

Is it penetrable by any way? I tried dispelling and using spell breach but without any effect. The same goes for Caravan Masters.

Why are you casting spells on Vistani!?  I was under the impression that that sort of thing requires a DM to be around because you'd get slapped with a hefty curse.

I was about to reply with the same thing.  A DM could answer, like say, the one I hope you had around to portray the NPC's reaction to casting grossly offensive spells on him.

You need a DM. This is frowned heavily upon. You can't go around casting on NPC's without a DM, and you really shouldn't be casting on NPC's in the first place, let alone ones that function as tools for the player base. There's a reason they have impenetrable protection from mind spells.

The Vistani are a lot more than just a taxi and vendor trash service. They are a faction of their own, with their own agenda, enemies and allies. Some of which can be PCs.

Well that goes without saying. But still, it doesn't change the fact that it's messed to cast offensively on these NPC's without DM's, as it effects everyone and is cheesy.

As mentioned, if you want to do anything to Vistani NPCs, you should make sure to have a DM present, otherwise this might be a rule breach (Ignoring NPCs).

Vistani are actually immune to mind-affecting abilities, that's one of the bonuses they get. It's one of the reasons you can't play a Vistani and can only play a half-Vistani.
