To those that would know the truth it has become apparent that some clarity must be given on the Knights of Takhisis and our Goddess.
Firstly. Not all who serve Takhisis are members of our Order . The criminal Morvis and the warrior Silvarses though of our home world and stated followers of Takhisis are not among our members. As such their actions do not reflect upon us nor are they accountable to us.
Secondly. Like the Ezrites there is more than one sect to our faith and more than one revelation. Those of the Knights of Takhisis seek a path of redemption for the sins of past misdeeds done in her name. Though some, like the Wayfarers refuse to even consider this notion and brand us as evil this is more a matter of their ignorance than fact.
We ask that we be judged on our deeds. Many of you who have taken the time to know us and our beliefs are aware we fight for justice and protect those in need. Though we did not seek credit for it we must now make you aware that it was in fact our Order that did quest to get the seeds that are now aiding in the food relief for Vallaki. The Wayfarers were unable to make a meaningful contribution on this front because they were too busy slandering us, spying on us and hiring assassins to kill our late leader, lady Jayne Var.
This has become tiresome for us. We ask you to judge us on our merits and not the crimes of fools who use her name to justify terrible deeds. We ask that you measure our deeds against the Wayfarers and judge which is the evil party.
Many have come to us for help in recent months to aid them against fiends , monsters, injustice or for some small favours. We have never refused such requests. What have the Wayfarers done ? We ask you to consider the source of these slanders and judge them on their merits as we would treat others ourselves. Those that would speak the truth shall have our gratitude just as those who spread this falsehood have our contempt.
