limited internet
« on: June 18, 2014, 12:50:13 AM »
Hello,
It seems lately my wireless network keeps showing it as being limited despite it having good connection. This is rather frustrating,  so I am wondering if anyone has any experience on how to fix it. For the record, I am using windows 8.

I have windows 8, and I had that problem. But I had a network card that's external.  In my case, I tried multiple reboots. Nothing. Ended up being just unplugging and replugging the network card. That was it.  Hope this helps.

I seemed to fix it for now, I am just hoping this is the end of this issue.

I had this problem for months and months it was frustrating as hell. Turned out my micro filter must have been damaged as soon as I changed that the problem stopped happening, but before I did that I tried all sorts of stuff from resetting the router, releasing and renewing IP address, checking my internet settings, all with limited success. You might call the micro filter something different where you live, its the little junction box that the cables from the router and other devices plug into before it goes into the phone line.
