The contents of this book are written in the infernal dialect, each page a circle akin to that used in summoning a devil, the beginning of the passage starting at the outermost circle, ending in the center marked with a single shape.

A Game of Chess
Spoiler: show
Today I begin a game of chess against an opponent who I fear has begun to set the table before I even knew the game had begun.
But it matters not the Spire that brought this about.
My opponent's pieces are being chosen ever so carefully.
Meaning to win the battle before it begins, oh but it will begin, my dear.
It will begin.

The pawns are in place, as are a bishop and a rook.
The pawns are actually an easy thing to counter.
Their structure and conditions are easily toppled by words alone.
Something the opposing king wields like I wield my thoughts.

I must set out to.. enlist.. my pawns.
Where the enemy king shall have strength in numbers, I shall have strength in cunning and structure.
A wall to but break their blades.
I know who to seek.
Question is.. what do I say?

I will not allow a Spire to choose my rook,
and actions of the Vile to chose my bishop.
They will be chosen by the Correct.

This game of chess will be ever so enjoyable.

A Game of Cards

A new game has begun. The game of Faces and Suits. The grand design set in motion by each Spire. Each new face, each new suit, each serves it's purpose. To rise above them, I must keep them in place and know of such.
Queen of Serpents: Chaotic, Forked tongue, Whisperer.
Counter: Honesty, Loyalty. Committment
Notes: Trust a serpent only to be a serpant. Fear is a powerful mask and a blade when shown the right eyes.

Joker of Hearts: Mouldable, Quick to action {Must review this}, Word weighs less than that of salt.
Counters: Evidence, Honesty, Serpents
Notes: This one tries too hard to slander a name. Songs are admittably enjoyable. Perhaps he holds the key to the serpent cards?

One of Diamonds: Honest, Young, Wise to the World
Counters: Unknown {Must look into this... in time}
Notes: Enjoyable to say anything. Perhaps too, a Devil in Man's Flesh.

Queen of Diamonds: Loyal, Honest as set to Equivalency, Wise to the World, Young in heart.
Counters: None. I am countered by this Card.. This does not Vex me... Strange.
Notes: . . . Perhaps.

King of Hearts: Confusing, Disturbingly.. entrancing, Words weighed in gold.
Counters: It Vexes me greatly, to think this card has no counters. A trump.
Notes: Alluring and.. gentle.. it pains me to a degree to see this card not in my collection.

King of Circles: Calculative, Wise to the World.. sociopathic
Counters: None, save what is hidden from the world. It shall remain hidden, by my honor.
Notes: I owe this card respect.

Eight of Circles: Compassionate? Accepting? Kindred, Ensared.
Counters: Exposure, Itself
Notes: I aided in the creation of this card. It owes civility, and gives it. Likely nothing more.

I guess my card must be put into play.
One of Horns: Reformed, Refined, Weak, An Insect wishing to be Correct.
Counters: Serpent cards, Diamond Cards, Horn cards, King of Hearts. Longs for a companion, Stubborn as a mule, Emotions {All things must bear one weakness in order to derive it's strengths, this is mine}
Notes: Often useless, Possible potential, guided by the Grand Design's Hand. Will die at the behest of the design, no sooner.

Queen of Horns: None
Counters: A Card of Horns
Notes: This card belongs to no one, but shall forever be my hope of a companion.

Wild Card Svarni: Blood boiling. Candidate for Queen of horns or Two of serpents.
Counters: Classified.
Notes: I didn't know you could get dirt there..

Wild Card Sralti: Calming. Candidate for Queen of Horns and six of circles.
Counters: Classified
Notes: I will break the endless chain.

Theory of Card Displacement:
As the grand Laws prevail; None may rise unless another falls, so too can neither card become queen of horns until thhe other falls from candidacy. The candidate to finish but one of the appointed tasks before the other candidate will be etched into the book as queen of horns as she who will serve Father's will after life's inevitable end.

Task order is not relavant to level of desire.

Mutually benefitial Marriage
Bearing of Child
Declairation of Love (not abiding any prior command, it must be voluntary)

Upon completion of any one task by a candidate or third party sent by Father's will, the card thereafter claimed Queen of Horns shall be given the blessing of Father, and offered a single soul's energy (or ninety nine monster souls by equivalent) gathered by his hand for use however the woman sees fit.
Signed: Nerein Kazan.

Jack of Serpents: Manipulative, crude, Mortal
Counters: King of Horns, Wild Cards, Jack of Serpents
Notes: This writhing worm incurs my wrath. For once, I have the upper hand. . . Thank you, Father.

-This page burns itself into existance upon a contract's requirements are met, the infernal script written by unseen hand-

Queen of Horns: Loyal. Honest. Reformed and Reborn as he.
Counters: King of Horns, Card of Ends
Notes: Live unto Death.
